Abstract

A tent mattress assembly for inhibiting water from entering a tent includes a plurality of panels. Each of the panels may be positioned on a support surface. Each of the panels removably engages one another such that the plurality of panels forms a mattress. Thus, the mattress may support a floor of a tent thereby facilitating a user to sleep on the mattress. A bag is provided and each of the panels is selectively stored in the bag.

Claims

exact text as granted — not AI-modified
1 . A tent mattress assembly comprising:
a plurality of panels, each of said panels being configured to be positioned on a support surface, each of said panels removably engaging one another such that said plurality of panels forms a mattress wherein said mattress is configured to support a floor of a tent thereby spacing the tent from the support surface; and a bag having a cut to access an interior of said bag, each of said panels being stored in said bag; wherein each of said panels having a first surface, a second surface and a peripheral edge extending therebetween, said first surface being configured to be positioned on the support surface, said second surface being configured to have the user lay thereon; wherein each of said panels includes a plurality of tabs, each of said tabs extending outwardly from said peripheral edge, said tabs being spaced apart from each other and being distributed around said peripheral edge providing a pair of said tabs extending from one longitudinal side of said panel and a single tab extending from one short side of said panel, each of said tabs being spaced between an associated pair of corners of said panel such that each said tab is offset from said associated corners of said panel; and wherein each of said tabs has a stem and a head, said stem being coupled to said peripheral edge, said head having parallel opposite straight edges and parallel opposite straight ends, said head being oriented transverse with respect to said stem such that each of said tabs has a T-shape.

         4 . (canceled)

5 . The assembly according to claim 1 , wherein each of said panels includes a plurality of slots, each of said slots extending inwardly into said peripheral edge, said slots being spaced apart from each other and being distributed around said peripheral edge.

         6 . A tent mattress assembly comprising:
a plurality of panels, each of said panels being configured to be positioned on a support surface, each of said panels removably engaging one another such that said plurality of panels forms a mattress wherein said mattress is configured to support a floor of a tent thereby spacing the tent from the support surface; and a bag having a cut to access an interior of said bag, each of said panels being stored in said bag; wherein each of said panels having a first surface, a second surface and a peripheral edge extending therebetween, said first surface being configured to be positioned on the support surface, said second surface being configured to have the user lay thereon; wherein each of said panels includes a plurality of slots, each of said slots extending inwardly into said peripheral edge, said slots being spaced apart from each other and being distributed around said peripheral edge; wherein each of said panel includes a plurality of tabs, said tabs being positioned to provide only a pair of said tabs extending from one longitudinal side of said panel and a single tab extending from one short side of said panel, each of said tabs being spaced between an associated pair of corners of said panel such that each said tab is offset from said associated corners of said panel; and each of said slots has a first channel and a second channel, said first channel extending inwardly from said peripheral edge, said second channel being oriented transverse with respect to said first channel such that each of said slots has a T-shape, each of said tabs being positioned in corresponding one of said slots of an associated panel such that said panels are removably coupled together to form said mattress.

         7 . A tent mattress assembly comprising:
a plurality of panels, each of said panels being configured to be positioned on a support surface, each of said panels removably engaging one another such that said plurality of panels forms a mattress wherein said mattress is configured to support a floor of a tent thereby spacing the tent from the support surface, each of said panels having a first surface, a second surface and a peripheral edge extending therebetween, said first surface being configured to be positioned on the support surface, said second surface being configured to have the user lay thereon, each of said panels comprising:
a plurality of tabs, each of said tabs extending outwardly from said peripheral edge, said tabs being spaced apart from each other and being distributed around said peripheral edge providing only a pair of said tabs extending from one longitudinal side of said panel and a single tab extending from one short side of said panel, each of said tabs being spaced between an associated pair of corners of said panel such that each said tab is offset from said associated corners of said panel, each of said tabs having a stem and a head, said stem being coupled to said peripheral edge, said head having parallel opposite straight edges and parallel opposite straight ends, said head being oriented transverse with respect to said stem such that each of said tabs has a T-shape, and
a plurality of slots, each of said slots extending inwardly into said peripheral edge, said slots being spaced apart from each other and being distributed around said peripheral edge, each of said slots having a first channel and a second channel, said first channel extending inwardly from said peripheral edge, said second channel being oriented transverse with respect to said first channel such that each of said slots has a T-shape, each of said tabs being positioned in corresponding one of said slots of an associated panel such that said panels are removably coupled together to form said mattress; and
a bag having a cut to access and interior of said bag, each of said panels being selectively stored in said bag; and a strap being coupled to said bag wherein said strap is configured to be worn thereby facilitating said bag to be carried.
