Footwear sole

Abstract

The present invention regards a footwear sole including a first component and a base group constrained to the midsole component and provided with a second component or support component as well as a third component or tread component including a plurality of stud elements.

A footwear sole comprising a first component or midsole component and a base group or outsole constrained to said midsole component and provided with a second component or support component as well as with a third component or tread component including a plurality of stud elements, wherein said support component comprises at least one cloth element or piece or strip, whereas said tread component is moulded together with or on said at least one cloth element, in such a way that said tread component extends also through said at least one cloth element, so that said tread component and said stud elements are constrained to and supported by said at least one cloth element. 
     
     
         2 . The footwear sole according to  claim 1 , wherein the thickness of said base group including said tread component and said cloth element ranges between 0.5 and 1.5 mm, if desired between 0.5 and 1 mm. 
     
     
         3 . The footwear sole according to  claim 2 , wherein the thickness of said base group including said tread component and said cloth element varies between 0.5 and 0.8 mm 
     
     
         4 . The footwear sole according to  claim 1 , wherein said cloth element is embedded in said tread component. 
     
     
         5 . The footwear sole according to  claim 4 , wherein said tread component comprises a first layer and said stud elements extend from a first surface of said first layer, whereas said cloth element is constrained on a second surface of said first layer opposite to said first surface, said first layer having first bridge-portions extending through said cloth element or between the meshes thereof.

The footwear sole according to  claim 4 , wherein said cloth element is embedded between a second layer and a third layer of said tread component and said tread component has second bridge portions between said second layer and said third layer extending through said cloth element, said stud elements extending starting from said third layer.

The footwear sole according to  claim 4 , wherein said at least one cloth element is embedded between a fourth layer of said tread component and said stud elements, whereas said tread component has third bridge-portions between said fourth layer and said stud elements extending through said cloth element. 
     
     
         8 . The footwear sole according to  claim 1 , wherein said tread component is made of a material selected from the group consisting of styrene-butadiene, acrylonitrile-butadiene, polybutadiene, polychloroprene, bromo-isobutylene-isoprene, polyisoprene natural rubber. 
     
     
         9 . The footwear sole according to  claim 1 , wherein said at least one cloth element is made of polyester. 
     
     
         10 . The footwear sole according to  claim 1 , wherein said at least one cloth element extends from the front to the rear and from one side to the other of the sole and said cloth element consists of an enbloc element. 
     
     
         11 . The footwear sole according to  claim 1 , wherein said cloth element comprises a plurality of pieces or portions separated one from another and arranged in different positions of the sole. 
     
     
         12 . The footwear sole according to  claim 1 , wherein said stud elements project downwardly with respect to said cloth element, so that said stud elements come into contact with the ground, thereby preventing, or in any case limiting, the rubbing of said cloth element with the ground. 
     
     
         13 . The footwear sole according to  claim 1 , wherein said cloth element does not extend up to the edge or peripheral portion of said base group, said edge or peripheral portion only consisting of said tread component. 
     
     
         14 . The footwear sole according to  claim 1 , wherein said midsole component is made of a single material, of a mixture of more materials or of more assembled layers, each of which layers is made of a material equal to or different from the other layers. 
     
     
         15 . A footwear comprising a sole according to  claim 1  and an upper constrained to said midsole component of said sole. 
     
     
         16 . Footwear The footwear according to  claim 15 , wherein said sole only consists of said base group and of said midsole component, said sole being constrained or directly connected to said upper, without the interposition of other layers or elements.
