Abstract

A secondary cell with a positive electrode, a negative electrode, and an electrolyte, the positive electrode containing insoluble sulfur.

Claims

exact text as granted — not AI-modified
What is claimed is:

         1 . A battery comprising:
a positive electrode including insoluble sulfur, a conductive agent and a binder; a negative electrode; and an electrolyte including at least one of hexafluoropropylene (HFP), polyvinylidene fluoride-hexafluoropropylene (PVDF-HFP), polyaniline (PAN), polyethylene oxide (PEO), or a copolymer of any of them.

2 . The battery according to claim 1 , wherein the conductive agent including carbon material.

3 . The battery according to claim 2 , wherein the carbon material is at least one of carbon black, activated carbon, carbon fiber, a carbon nanotube, or graphite.

4 . The battery according to claim 1 , wherein the negative electrode includes at least one of lithium, sodium, silicon, aluminum, magnesium, a magnesium salt, a lithium-containing alloy, a carbon material, tin oxide, or titanium oxide.

5 . The battery according to claim 1 , wherein the electrolyte includes at least one of a lithium ion, a sodium ion, a magnesium ion, an aluminum ion, or a tetraalkylammonium ion.

         6 . A battery pack comprising:
a battery according to claim 1 ; a control unit for the battery; and a package containing the battery.

7 . An electronic device powered by a battery according to claim 6 .

         8 . A electric vehicle comprising:
a battery according to claim 1 , a transducer configured to receive electrical power from the battery and convert the received electrical power into a force that drives the electric vehicle.
