Pressurized oven assembly
Abstract
A pressurized oven is provided having a fully sealed cavity, reduces heat lost, shortens cooking time and saves energy of oven operation. The pressurized oven includes a cavity component, a door assembly, heating elements and a control system that includes a relief valve on top of the cavity. The relief valve includes a valve weight and a venting stub, wherein the valve weight sits on the top of the venting stub. The valve weight disposed on top of the venting stub remains closed and the gas is not released when the pressure is not sufficient to lift the valve weight. When the pressure inside the oven is sufficient to lift the valve weight, the valve weight block is lifted to open the valve, the gas is released and the pressure is decreased. Once the pressure becomes less than the valve weight, the valve closes and gas is no longer released.

20 . A pressurized oven comprising:
a cavity configured to withstand a pressure higher than atmospheric pressure, the cavity including a front frame; a door assembly including a door frame; a heater configured to heat an interior of the cavity to a predetermined temperature; a locking mechanism configured to hermetically seal the cavity, comprising one or more levers, wherein the lever is movable between a lock status and an unlock status; a relief valve,
wherein the relief valve is configured, when the relief valve is closed, to provide sealing that permits the pressure of the cavity gas to be increased,
wherein the relief valve is configured to release gas from inside the cavity of the pressurized oven when a pressure inside the cavity of the pressurized oven is equal to or above a first given pressure, and
wherein the relief valve is configured, when a linkage actuates the relief valve to an open position, to release gas from inside the cavity of the pressurized oven; and
wherein pressure within the cavity is completely released by the door assembly when the door assembly is no longer pressing against the front frame of the cavity.
21 . The pressurized oven of claim 20 , wherein a relief valve control system actuates the linkage that actuates the relief valve to the open position.
22 . The pressurized oven of claim 20 , wherein the locking mechanism further comprises: a transmission part coupled to the lever and configured to hermetically unseal the cavity.
23 . The pressurized oven of claim 20 , further comprising a computer system coupled to at least one of the door assembly, heater, locking mechanism, and the relief valve, wherein the computer system is configured to hermetically unseal the cavity.
24 . The pressurized oven of claim 20 , further comprising a computer system coupled to at least one of the door assembly, heater, locking mechanism, and the relief valve, wherein the computer system is configured to hermetically seal the cavity.
25 . The pressurized oven of claim 23 , wherein the computer system is configured to open the door assembly so the door assembly is no longer pressing against the front frame of the cavity.
26 . The pressurized oven of claim 20 , wherein the relief valve comprises a relief vent and a relief valve weight, wherein the relief valve weight prevents gas from the cavity to exit the cavity through the relief valve vent.
27 . The pressurized oven of claim 26 , wherein pressure is released by moving the relief valve weight.
28 . The pressurized oven of claim 26 , wherein pressure is released by moving the relief vent.
29 . The pressurized oven of claim 26 , wherein the relief valve is on the door, handle, or other structure adjacent to the cavity.
30 . A pressurized oven comprising:
a cavity configured to withstand a pressure higher than atmospheric pressure; a heater configured to heat an interior of the cavity to a predetermined temperature; a locking mechanism configured to hermetically seal the cavity; and a relief valve configured to release gas from inside the cavity of the pressurized oven when a pressure inside the cavity of the pressurized oven is equal to or above a first given pressure, wherein the relief valve comprises a relief vent and a relief valve weight, wherein the relief valve weight prevents gas from the cavity to exit the cavity through the relief valve vent; and a door release system coupled with the cavity configured to hermetically unseal the cavity and completely release pressure from the cavity.
31 . The pressurized oven of claim 30 , wherein the relief valve comprises a linkage configured to move at least one of the relief weight and the relief vent.
32 . The pressurized oven of claim 31 , further comprising:
a relief valve controller configured to actuate the relief valve.
33 . The pressurized oven of claim 32 , wherein the relief valve controller releases cavity pressure by moving the relief valve weight.
34 . The pressurized oven of claim 32 , wherein the relief valve controller releases cavity pressure by moving the relief vent.
35 . A relief valve coupled with a pressurized oven including a cavity configured to withstand a pressure higher than atmospheric pressure, the cavity including a front frame; a door assembly including a door frame; a heater configured to heat an interior of the cavity to a predetermined temperature; and a locking mechanism comprising a lever and a transmission part, wherein the lever is movable between a lock status and an unlock status, the relief valve comprising:
a relief vent; and a relief weight, wherein the relief weight prevents gas inside the cavity from exiting the cavity.
36 . The relief valve of claim 35 , wherein the relief valve further comprises a linkage configured to move the relief weight.
37 . The relief valve of claim 36 , wherein the linkage is configured to be actuated by a computer system coupled with the pressurized oven.
38 . The relief valve of claim 35 , wherein the relief valve is configured to instantaneously release gas from inside the cavity.
39 . A pressurized oven, comprising:
a computer system coupled to:
a heater configured to heat a cavity to a predetermined temperature,
a relief valve configured to release gas from inside the cavity of the pressurized oven when a pressure inside the cavity of the pressurized oven is equal to or above a first given pressure, whereby the computer system is configured to actuate the relief valve; and
a door release system coupled with the cavity configured to completely release pressure inside the cavity,
wherein the relief valve is configured, when the relief valve is closed, to provide sealing that permits the pressure within the cavity to be increased, and
wherein the relief valve is configured, when the relief valve is open, to release gas from inside the cavity; and
wherein pressure within the cavity is completely released by the door assembly when the door assembly is no longer pressing against the front frame of the cavity.
40 . The pressurized oven of claim 39 , wherein the linkage is coupled to the computer system.
41 . The pressurized oven of claim 40 , wherein the computer system is configured to release cavity pressure by actuating the linkage of the relief valve.
42 . The pressurized oven of claim 40 , wherein the computer system is further coupled to at least one of a timer and a temperature controller.
43 . The pressurized oven of claim 42 , wherein the at least one of the timer and the temperature controller is configured to indicate when cooking is complete.
44 . The pressurized oven of claim 43 , wherein the computer system is further configured to actuate the relief valve when cooking is complete.
45 . The pressurized oven of claim 39 , further comprising:
a locking mechanism comprising a lever configured to hermetically seal the cavity.
46 . The pressurized oven of claim 45 , wherein the computer system is further configured to actuate the locking mechanism to hermetically seal the cavity.
47 . The pressurized oven of claim 39 , wherein the relief valve comprises a relief valve weight.
48 . The pressurized oven of claim 47 , wherein the computer system is configured to move the relief valve weight to release the pressure from the cavity.
