Clip on necktie assembly

Abstract

A clip on necktie assembly for presenting an ornamental appearance of a necktie includes a strap that may be worn around a neck. A strip is removably coupled to the strap. Thus, the strip and the strap have an ornamental appearance of a necktie.

I claim: 
     
         1 . A clip on necktie assembly being configured to be worn around a neck, said assembly comprising:
 a strap being configured to be worn around a neck; and   a strip being removably coupled to said strap wherein said strip and said strap are configured to have an ornamental appearance of a necktie.   
     
     
         2 . The assembly according to  claim 1 , wherein:
 said strap has a knot and a first end, said first end being directed through said knot such that said strap forms a closed loop; and   said knot having a middle surface and a front surface.   
     
     
         3 . The assembly according to  claim 2 , further comprising a clip being coupled to said strap, said clip being positioned on said middle surface of said knot such that said clip is concealed behind said front surface of said knot. 
     
     
         4 . The assembly according to  claim 2 , wherein said strip has a first end, a second end and a first surface, said strip being inserted between said middle surface of said knot and said front surface of said knot. 
     
     
         5 . The assembly according to  claim 4 , further comprising:
 a clip being coupled to said strap; and   a hook being coupled to said strip, said hook being positioned on said first surface of said strip, said hook being positioned closer to said first end than said second end, said hook engaging said clip when said strip is inserted in said knot such that said strip is removably retained on said strap.   
     
     
         6 . A clip on necktie assembly being configured to be worn around a neck, said assembly comprising:
 a strap having a knot and a first end, said first end being directed through said knot such that said strap forms a closed loop wherein said strap is configured to be worn around a neck, said knot having a middle surface and a front surface;   a clip being coupled to said strap, said clip being positioned on said middle surface of said knot such that said clip is concealed behind said front surface of said knot;   a strip having a first end, a second end and a first surface, said strip being removably coupled to said strap wherein said strip and said strap are configured to have an ornamental appearance of a necktie, said strip being inserted between said middle surface of said knot and said front surface of said knot; and   a hook being coupled to said strip, said hook being positioned on said first surface of said strip, said hook being positioned closer to said first end than said second end, said hook engaging said clip when said strip is inserted in said knot such that said strip is removably retained on said strap.
