Abstract

Systems for, and methods of, playing, from a remote video provider, a video; receiving, during the playing of the video, a request for information; identifying, responsive to the request for information, a request location in the video; selecting, from a plurality of video location identifiers, a video location identifier that is responsive to the identified request location, the selected video location identifier being associated with an identification of a musical item depicted within the video; displaying the identification of the musical item depicted within the video; and enabling reviewing, at a time convenient to a user, purchase information that is responsive to the identification of the musical item.

What is claimed is: 
     
         1 . A system capable of performing the steps of:
 playing, from a remote video provider, a video;   receiving, during the playing of the video, a request for information;   identifying, responsive to the request for information, a request location in the video;   selecting, from a plurality of video location identifiers, a video location identifier that is responsive to the identified request location, the selected video location identifier being associated with an identification of a musical item depicted within the video;   displaying the identification of the musical item depicted within the video; and   enabling reviewing, at a time convenient to a user, purchase information that is responsive to the identification of the musical item.   
     
     
         2 . The system of  claim 1 , wherein the identification of the musical item enables the reviewing of purchase information. 
     
     
         3 . The system of  claim 1 , wherein musical item depicted within the video is depicted prior to the identified request location in the video. 
     
     
         4 . The system of  claim 1 , wherein the identification of the musical item is an identification of a music album relating to the musical item depicted within the video. 
     
     
         5 . The system of  claim 1 , wherein the identification of the musical item is a downloaded image external to the video. 
     
     
         6 . The system of  claim 1 , wherein the system comprises a primary screen device playing the video, and a second screen device establishing synchronization to the playing of the video on the primary screen device; and wherein the second screen device receives the request for information and displays the identification of the musical item. 
     
     
         7 . A method comprising the steps of:
 playing, from a remote video provider, a video;   receiving, during the playing of the video, a request for information;   identifying, responsive to the request for information, a request location in the video;   selecting, from a plurality of video location identifiers, a video location identifier that is responsive to the identified request location, the selected video location identifier being associated with an identification of a musical item depicted within the video;   displaying the identification of the musical item depicted within the video; and   enabling reviewing, at a time convenient to a user, purchase information that is responsive to the identification of the musical item.   
     
     
         8 . The method of  claim 7 , wherein the identification of the musical item enables the reviewing of purchase information. 
     
     
         9 . The method of  claim 7 , wherein musical item depicted within the video is depicted prior to the identified request location in the video. 
     
     
         10 . The method of  claim 7 , wherein the identification of the musical item is an identification of a music album relating to the musical item depicted within the video. 
     
     
         11 . The method of  claim 7 , wherein the identification of the musical item is a downloaded image external to the video. 
     
     
         12 . The method of  claim 7 , wherein a primary screen device plays the video from a remote video provider; wherein a second screen device establishes synchronization to the playing of the video on the primary screen device; and wherein the second screen device receives the request for information and displays the identification of the musical item. 
     
     
         13 . A method comprising the steps of:
 playing a video; receiving, during the playing of the video, a request for information;   identifying, responsive to the request for information, a request location in the video;   selecting, from a plurality of video location identifiers, a video location identifier that is responsive to the identified request location, the selected video location identifier being associated with an identification of a musical item depicted within the video;   displaying the identification of the musical item depicted within the video; and   enabling a display of purchase information that is responsive to the identification of the musical item.   
     
     
         14 . The method of  claim 13 , further comprising the step of: enabling reviewing, at a time convenient to a user, the purchase information. 
     
     
         15 . The method of  claim 13 , wherein the identification of the musical item enables the display of purchase information. 
     
     
         16 . The method of  claim 13 , wherein musical item depicted within the video is depicted prior to the identified request location in the video. 
     
     
         17 . The method of  claim 13 , wherein the identification of the musical item is an identification of a music album relating to the musical item depicted within the video. 
     
     
         18 . The method of  claim 13 , wherein the identification of the musical item is a downloaded image external to the video. 
     
     
         19 . The method of  claim 13 , further comprising the step of: pausing the playing of the video in response to the request for information. 
     
     
         20 . The method of  claim 13 , wherein a primary screen device plays the video from a remote video provider; wherein a second screen device establishes synchronization to the playing of the video on the primary screen device; and wherein the second screen device receives the request for information and displays the identification of the musical item.
