Eyeliner with application guide cap

Abstract

A cap for eyeliner makeup is disclosed with a guide edge that can be used to apply the eye liner. The cap may include a pliable flap with a guide edge, and a beveled section adjacent to the guide edge, and finger indents to assist in holding and positioning the guide edge. The cap may be used to protect an applicator tip of liquid, gel or pencil eyeliner makeup. A method of using a cap for eyeliner makeup is also disclosed.

What is claimed is: 
     
         1 . A cap for eyeliner makeup comprising:
 an interior, an exterior, an open end, a closed end at an opposite position from the open end,   a pliable flap extending from the closed end of the cap having a guide edge, and   a bevel contour adjacent to the guide edge.   
     
     
         2 . The cap according to  claim 1  wherein the guide edge forms a straight line. 
     
     
         3 . The cap according to  claim 1  wherein the cap for the eyeliner makeup has a longitudinal axis from the open end to the closed end, and wherein the guide edge is at an angle relative to the longitudinal axis. 
     
     
         4 . The cap according to  claim 3  wherein the angle of the guide edge relative to the longitudinal axis is between about 15 degrees and 90 degrees. 
     
     
         5 . The cap according to  claim 3  wherein the angle of the guide edge relative to the longitudinal axis is between about 45 degrees and 65 degrees. 
     
     
         6 . The cap according to  claim 3  wherein the angle of the guide edge relative to the longitudinal axis is about 55 degrees. 
     
     
         7 . The cap according to  claim 1  further comprising a finger indent on the exterior. 
     
     
         8 . The cap according to  claim 7  wherein the finger indent is substantially parallel to the guide edge. 
     
     
         9 . The cap according to  claim 1  further comprising an inner cap, wherein the inner cap is at least partially within the interior of the cap for the eyeliner makeup. 
     
     
         10 . The cap according to  claim 1  wherein the cap has a right side and a left side, and wherein the guide edge defines a line between the right side and the left side. 
     
     
         11 . The cap according to  claim 10  wherein the bevel contour is on the right side of the cap, and wherein the cap further comprises a second bevel contour on the left side of the cap. 
     
     
         12 . The cap according to  claim 10  further comprising a first finger indent on the right side, and a second finger indent opposite the first finger indent on the left side. 
     
     
         13 . Eyeliner makeup comprising:
 eyeliner makeup with an applicator tip for applying the eyeliner makeup to a user's face;   a cap having an interior configured to protect the applicator tip the cap further comprising:
 an exterior, 
 an open end, 
 a closed end at an opposite postion from the open end, 
 a pliable flap extending from the closed end of the cap having a guide edge, and 
 a bevel contour adjacent to the guide edge. 
   
     
     
         14 . The eyeliner makeup according to  claim 13 , wherein the eyeliner makeup is liquid eyeliner, further comprising: a storage area for the liquid eyeliner, where in the applicator tip is connected to the storage area so that the liquid eyeliner travels from the storage area to the applicator tip. 
     
     
         15 . The eyeliner makeup according to  claim 13 , wherein the eyeliner makeup is a pencil eyeliner, and wherein the pencil eyeliner has a pencil tip, and wherein the applicator tip is the pencil tip. 
     
     
         16 . The eyeliner makeup according to  claim 13 , wherein the guide edge is a substantially straight line. 
     
     
         17 . The eyeliner makeup according to  claim 13  wherein the cap has a right side and a left side, and wherein the guide edge defines a line between the right side and the left side;
 wherein the bevel contour is on the right side of the cap, and wherein the cap further comprises a second bevel contour on the left side of the cap. 
 
     
     
         18 . The eyeliner makeup according to  claim 17  further comprising a first finger indent on the right side, and a second finger indent opposite the first finger indent on the left side, wherein the first finger indent is substantially parallel to the guide edge and wherein the second finger indent is substantially parallel to the guide edge.
