Water cooler transport device
Abstract
A water cooler transport device has a lattice-work body defined by connected bottom and side strap members and defines a compartment receiving one or more water dispensing containers. A handle having spaced handle arms is pivotally mounted to opposed sides of the body and has an elongate bar defining a lift connection opening for receiving a connection member of a cable lift. A releasable elastic retainer member is releasably connected with the wall of the transport device and serves to secure a water cooler container within the compartment and to secure the lid of the water cooler seated in closed position.

4 . The water cooler transport device of claim 3 , comprising:
a pair of said upstanding wall strap sections having upper end sections defining connection members projecting above said upper wall strap member and defining pivot mount tabs each having pivot hole; said spaced handle arms each defining a pivot opening being aligned with said pivot holes of said pivot mount tabs; and pivot bolt members being received by said aligned pivot openings and pivot holes and securing said handle in pivotal assembly with said pivot mount tabs.
5 . The water cooler transport device of claim 1 , comprising:
said elongate bar of said handle having an elongate bar panel of defined length and having a bottom flange defining a T-shaped structurally enhanced cross-sectional configuration along the length of said elongate bar panel; and said elongate bar panel having a centrally located lift connection permitting lifting and handling of said water cooler transport device by means of a lifting cable.
6 . The water cooler transport device of claim 1 , comprising:
said wall structure and bottom structure being defined by U shaped straps each having straight bottom strap sections arranged in intersecting relation and having upstanding wall strap sections; upper and lower wall strap members being connected with said upstanding wall strap sections; a pair of said upstanding wall strap sections having upper end sections defining connection tabs projecting above said upper wall strap member and defining pivot mount tabs each having pivot hole; said spaced handle arms each defining a pivot opening being aligned with said pivot holes of said pivot mount tabs; and pivot bolt members being received by said aligned pivot openings and pivot holes and securing said handle in pivotal assembly with said connection tabs.
7 . The water cooler transport device of claim 1 , comprising:
said upper and lower wall strap members being of circular configuration and being disposed in generally vertically spaced relation.
8 . The water cooler transport device of claim 1 , comprising:
said wall structure having upright strap members and upper and lower wall strap members being of oval configuration and being disposed in vertically spaced and substantially parallel relation and being connected with said upright strap members.
9 . A water cooler transport device, comprising:
U-shaped strap members being disposed in spaced relation and having substantially flat sections defining a bottom support wall and having upstanding sections defining a side wall and defining a compartment for receiving a water cooler container having insulated bottom and side walls and having an upwardly facing opening within which a closure lid is seated, said upstanding sections of said U-shaped strap members defining mounting tabs; upper and lower spaced horizontally oriented strap members being connected with said upstanding sections of said U-shaped strap members and enhancing the structural integrity of said side wall, said mounting tabs projecting above said upper horizontally oriented strap member and defining mounting holes; a handle having spaced handle arms pivotally mounted to opposed mounting holes of said mounting tabs and having an elongate bar defining a lift connection opening receiving a connection member of a cable lift; and an elastic retainer member being releasably connected with said mounting holes of said mounting tabs and engaging said closure lid of said water cooler container and applying a force securing said water cooler container within said compartment and securing said closure lid of said water cooler container seated in closed position.
10 . The water cooler transport device of claim 9 , comprising:
a pair of said upstanding wall strap sections having upper ends defining connection members projecting above said upper wall strap member and defining pivot mount tabs each having pivot hole; said spaced handle arms each defining a pivot opening being aligned with said pivot holes of said pivot mount tabs; and pivot bolt members being received by said aligned pivot openings and pivot holes and securing said spaced handle arms in pivotal assembly with said pivot mount tabs.
11 . The water cooler transport device of claim 9 , comprising:
said elongate bar of said handle having an elongate bar panel of defined length and having a bottom flange defining a T-shaped structurally enhanced cross-sectional configuration along the length of said elongate bar panel; and said elongate bar panel having a centrally located lift connection opening permitting lifting and handling of said water cooler transport device by means of a lifting cable.
12 . The water cooler transport device of claim 9 , comprising:
said U shaped straps each having straight bottom strap sections arranged in intersecting relation and having upstanding wall strap sections; a pair of said upstanding wall strap sections having upper end sections defining connection tabs projecting above said upper wall strap member and defining pivot mount tabs each having pivot hole; said spaced handle arms each defining a pivot opening being aligned with said pivot holes of said pivot mount tabs; and pivot bolt members being received by said aligned pivot openings and pivot holes and securing said handle in pivotal assembly with said pivot mount tabs.
13 . The water cooler transport device of claim 9 , comprising:
said upper and lower wall strap members being of circular configuration and being disposed in vertically spaced relation.
14 . The water cooler transport device of claim 9 , comprising:
said upper and lower wall strap members being of oval configuration and being disposed in vertically spaced parallel relation and being connected with said connection tabs of two opposed upright strap members.Join the waitlist — get patent alerts
