Claims

Abstract

A rolled sheet dispensing cabinet for storing and dispensing rolled sheets includes a housing having a top, a bottom, a front, a back, and opposing sides defining an internal space. Each of a plurality of rods is coupled to and extends between the opposing sides. Each of a plurality of slots is positioned in the front and extends from proximate to each opposing side. The slots are parallel to the top and the bottom. Each slot is positioned proximate to a respective rod. The rods are positioned in the internal space and are configured for insertion into tubular cores of rolled sheets. The slots are positioned in the front and are configured for insertion of leading edges of the rolled sheets. The leading edges protrude from the front of the housing and are configured for grasping by a hand of a user to extract a portion of the rolled sheet.

I claim: 
     
         1 . A rolled sheet dispensing cabinet comprising:
 a housing having a top, a bottom, a front, a back, and opposing sides defining an internal space;   a plurality of rods positioned in said internal space, each said rod being coupled to and extending between said opposing sides;   a plurality of slots positioned in said front, each said slot extending from proximate to each said opposing side, said slots being parallel to said top and said bottom, each said slot being positioned proximate to a respective said rod; and   wherein said rods are positioned in said internal space such that said rods are configured for insertion into tubular cores of rolled sheets, wherein said slots are positioned in said front such that said slots are configured for insertion of leading edges of the rolled sheets, such that the leading edges protrude from said front of said housing, wherein the leading edges are configured for grasping by a hand of a user to extract a portion of the rolled sheet from said internal space of said housing.   
     
     
         2 . The cabinet of  claim 1 , further including said housing being rectangularly box shaped, said back being open. 
     
     
         3 . The cabinet of  claim 1 , further including each said rod being positioned substantially equally distant from said front and said back of said housing. 
     
     
         4 . The cabinet of  claim 1 , further including said plurality of rods comprising three said rods substantially evenly spaced within said internal space. 
     
     
         5 . The cabinet of  claim 1 , further including a respective said opposing side comprising a removable panel, said rods being fixedly coupled to said housing and reversibly couplable to said removable panel, wherein said removable panel is positioned on said housing such that said removable panel is configured for removal by a user, wherein said rods are positioned in said internal space such that said rods are configured for insertion into the tubular cores of the rolled sheets, wherein said removable panel is positioned to couple to said rods to close said second side of said housing. 
     
     
         6 . The cabinet of  claim 5 , further comprising:
 a pair of first fasteners coupled singly to said top and said bottom adjacent to said removable panel;   a pair of second fasteners coupled to said removable panel, said second fasteners being complementary to said first fasteners; and   wherein said second fasteners are positioned to couple to said first fasteners to couple said removable panel to said housing.   
     
     
         7 . The cabinet of  claim 16 , further including said first fasteners comprising magnets, said second fasteners comprising slats, said slats being ferromagnetic. 
     
     
         8 . The cabinet of  claim 1 , further including a plurality of cutters coupled to said front, each said cutter being positioned adjacent to a respective said slot, wherein said cutter is positioned on said front such that said cutter is configured to separate a portion of the rolled sheet that is extended from said internal space of said housing. 
     
     
         9 . The cabinet of  claim 1 , further including said cutter being positioned adjacent to a bottom edge of said respective said slot. 
     
     
         10 . The cabinet of  claim 9 , further including said cutter comprising a serrated edge, said serrated edge protruding into said respective said slot from said bottom edge, such that said serrated edge is configured to contact the rolled sheet that is extended from said internal space through said respective said slot. 
     
     
         11 . The cabinet of  claim 1 , further including a plurality of covers hingedly coupled to said front, each said cover being positioned proximate to a respective said slot, wherein said covers are positioned to cover said slots. 
     
     
         12 . The cabinet of  claim 11 , further including each said cover being coupled to said housing above said respective said slot, such that said cover opens upwardly relative to said respective said slot. 
     
     
         13 . The cabinet of  claim 11 , further including said covers being substantially rectangularly shaped when viewed perpendicularly from said front. 
     
     
         14 . The cabinet of  claim 11 , further including a plurality of pulls coupled singly to each of said covers, each said pull being substantially centrally positioned on a front face of a respective said cover, each said pull comprising a stem coupled to said front face and a knob coupled to said stem distal from said front face, said knob being circularly shaped when viewed perpendicularly from said front face, said knob being rounded. 
     
     
         15 . The cabinet of  claim 1 , further including a pair of upper extensions coupled singly to said housing at said opposing sides, said upper extensions extending perpendicularly from said top, each said upper extension having an upper limit, said upper limit being arcuate. 
     
     
         16 . The cabinet of  claim 15 , further comprising:
 a pair of lower extensions coupled singly to said housing at said opposing sides, said lower extensions extending perpendicularly from said bottom;   a dowel coupled to and extending between said lower extensions; and   wherein said dowel is positioned on said lower extensions such that said dowel is configured for insertion through a tubular core of a roll of paper towels to support the roll of paper towels between said lower extensions.   
     
     
         17 . The cabinet of  claim 16 , further including a pair of brackets coupled singly to each said lower extension proximate to a lower limit of said lower extension, wherein said brackets are positioned on said lower extensions such that said brackets are positioned to reversibly couple to said dowel. 
     
     
         18 . The cabinet of  claim 16 , further including a plurality of connectors coupled to said back of said housing, wherein said connectors are positioned on said back such that said housing is configured for coupling to a vertical surface. 
     
     
         19 . The cabinet of  claim 18 , further including said connectors comprising hanger slits positioned in each of said pair of upper extensions proximate to said top and in each of said pair of lower extensions proximate to said bottom. 
     
     
         20 . A rolled sheet dispensing cabinet comprising:
 a housing having a top, a bottom, a front, a back, and opposing sides defining an internal space, said housing being rectangularly box shaped, said back being open;   a plurality of rods positioned in said internal space, each said rod being coupled to and extending between said opposing sides, each said rod being positioned substantially equally distant from said front and said back of said housing, said plurality of rods comprising three said rods substantially evenly spaced within said internal space;   a respective said opposing side comprising a removable panel, said rods being fixedly coupled to said housing and reversibly couplable to said removable panel, wherein said removable panel is positioned on said housing such that said removable panel is configured for removal by a user, wherein said rods are positioned in said internal space such that said rods are configured for insertion into tubular cores of rolled sheets, wherein said removable panel is positioned to couple to said rods to close said second side of said housing;   a pair of first fasteners coupled singly to said top and said bottom adjacent to said removable panel;   a pair of second fasteners coupled to said removable panel, said second fasteners being complementary to said first fasteners, wherein said second fasteners are positioned to couple to said first fasteners to couple said removable panel to said housing;   said first fasteners comprising magnets, said second fasteners comprising slats, said slats being ferromagnetic;   a plurality of slots positioned in said front, each said slot extending from proximate to each said opposing side, said slots being parallel to said top and said bottom, each said slot being positioned proximate to a respective said rod;   a plurality of cutters coupled to said front, each said cutter being positioned adjacent to a respective said slot, wherein said cutter is positioned on said front such that said cutter is configured to separate a portion of the rolled sheet that is extended from said internal space of said housing, said cutter being positioned adjacent to a bottom edge of said respective said slot, said cutter comprising a serrated edge, said serrated edge protruding into said respective said slot from said bottom edge, such that said serrated edge is configured to contact the rolled sheet that is extended from said internal space through said respective said slot;   a plurality of covers hingedly coupled to said front, each said cover being positioned proximate to a respective said slot, wherein said covers are positioned to cover said slots, each said cover being coupled to said housing above said respective said slot, such that said cover opens upwardly relative to said respective said slot, said covers being substantially rectangularly shaped when viewed perpendicularly from said front;   a plurality of pulls coupled singly to each of said covers, each said pull being substantially centrally positioned on a front face of a respective said cover, each said pull comprising a stem coupled to said front face and a knob coupled to said stem distal from said front face, said knob being circularly shaped when viewed perpendicularly from said front face, said knob being rounded;   a pair of upper extensions coupled singly to said housing at said opposing sides, said upper extensions extending perpendicularly from said top, each said upper extension having an upper limit, said upper limit being arcuate;   a pair of lower extensions coupled singly to said housing at said opposing sides, said lower extensions extending perpendicularly from said bottom;   a dowel coupled to and extending between said lower extensions, wherein said dowel is positioned on said lower extensions such that said dowel is configured for insertion through a tubular core of a roll of paper towels to support the roll of paper towels between said lower extensions;   a pair of brackets coupled singly to each said lower extension proximate to a lower limit of said lower extension, wherein said brackets are positioned on said lower extensions such that said brackets are positioned to reversibly couple to said dowel;   a plurality of connectors coupled to said back of said housing, wherein said connectors are positioned on said back such that said housing is configured for coupling to a vertical surface, said connectors comprising hanger slits positioned in each of said pair of upper extensions proximate to said top and in each of said pair of lower extensions proximate to said bottom; and   wherein said connectors are positioned on said back such that said housing is configured for coupling to a vertical surface, wherein said removable panel is positioned on said housing such that said removable panel is configured for removal by the user, wherein said rods are positioned in said internal space such that said rods are configured for insertion into the tubular cores of the rolled sheets, wherein said second fasteners are positioned to couple to said first fasteners to couple said removable panel to said housing, wherein said slots are positioned in said front such that said slots are configured for insertion of the leading edges of the rolled sheets, such that the leading edges protrude from said front of said housing, wherein the leading edges are configured for grasping by a hand of a user to extract a portion of the rolled sheet from said internal space of said housing, such that said serrated edge is configured to contact the rolled sheet that is extended from said internal space through said respective said slot, wherein said dowel is positioned on said lower extensions such that said dowel is configured for insertion through the tubular core of the roll of paper towels to support the roll of paper towels between said lower extensions.
