Integral Valve
Abstract
A valve comprising a shoulder, a movable check member having a wall facing the shoulder and a coupling member. The movable check member is adapted to prevent fluid passage through or out of the valve when in contact with the shoulder. The coupling member is adapted to displace the movable check member away from the shoulder responsive to the pressure being applied on the wall exceeding a predetermined threshold. The coupling member is further adapted to retract and maintain the movable check member secured against the shoulder responsive to the fluid flow pressure at the wall dropping below the threshold.

A process of using a plurality of valves in a drip irrigation pipe line configured to house the plurality of valves and one or more drippers deployed therebetween, whereby the plurality of valves divide the pipe line into a plurality of separate segments, each segment is enabled to provide fluid flow via the one or more drippers independently of other segments, each valve of the plurality of valves being configured to allow fluid passage in a single direction responsive to a fluid flow pressure applied thereon exceeding a threshold.

10 . The process of claim 1 , wherein the threshold is between about 0.3 BAR to about 0.7 BAR.
11 . The process of claim 10 , wherein the threshold is about 0. 5 BAR.
12 . The process of claim 1 , wherein the plurality of valves are configured in size and shape to be integrated within a pipe line.
13 . The process of claim 1 , wherein the plurality of valves are further configured for latching into an inner surface of a pipe.
14 . The process of claim 1 , wherein each of the plurality of valves further comprises a first connector configured to engage with a second connector to connect said valves with a pipe.

20 . The process of claim 1 , wherein the plurality of valves are configured in size and shape for being integrated in the drip irrigation pipe line during manufacturing, whereby the valves are pre-installed prior to deployment in field.

The process of claim 1 , wherein the plurality of valves are configured in size and shape for being connected at one end to a first pipe portion composing the drip irrigation pipe line and at the other end to a second pipe portion composing the drip irrigation pipe line, whereby allowing for customized installation on field.
22 . A drip irrigation system comprising:
a drip irrigation pipe line; a plurality of valves; and one or more drippers; wherein said drip irrigation pipe line houses said plurality of valves and said one or more drippers, wherein said one or more drippers are deployed between said plurality of valves, whereby the plurality of valves divide the pipe line into a plurality of separate segments, each segment is enabled to provide fluid flow via said one or more drippers independently of other segments.
