Image forming apparatus, information processing method, and storage medium

Abstract

An image forming apparatus includes a display unit configured to display a print target list of printing data corresponding to a login user, and a print control unit configured to execute print processing on data selected by the login user through the print target list displayed by the display unit. The print control unit is configured to execute the print processing on the data corresponding to the login user without selecting the data by the login user through the print target list when voice use setting of the login user is valid.

What is claimed is: 
     
         1 . An image forming apparatus, comprising:
 a storing unit configured to be able to store print data;   an operation unit configured to be able to receive a print instruction;   a print control unit; and   a printing unit configured to print an image based on the print data on a sheet;   wherein, upon a login of a first user to the image forming apparatus, the print control unit performs print control to print out print data that is stored in the storing unit and corresponds to the first user without receiving, from the first user via the operation unit, a print instruction for printing out the print data that is stored in the storing unit and corresponds to the first user, and   wherein, upon a login of a second user to the image forming apparatus, the print control unit performs print control to print out print data that is stored in the storing unit and corresponds to the second user on condition that a print instruction for printing out the print data that is stored in the storing unit and corresponds to the second user is received from the second user via the operation unit.   
     
     
         2 . The image forming apparatus according to  claim 1 ,
 wherein the storing unit stores print setting of each user; and   wherein the print control unit performs the print control on a basis of the stored print setting of a user who has logged in to the image forming apparatus.   
     
     
         3 . The image forming apparatus according to  claim 1 ,
 wherein the first user is a user for whom voice use setting is valid, and the second user is a user for whom voice use setting is invalid.   
     
     
         4 . The image forming apparatus according to  claim 1 ,
 wherein the print control unit performs the print control to, after a login of the second user to the image forming apparatus, upon selection of a print function, display a print job list corresponding to the second user, and to print out the print data selected from among print jobs displayed in the list.   
     
     
         5 . The image forming apparatus according to  claim 1 ,
 wherein the print control unit performs the print control to, upon a login of the first user to the image forming apparatus, judge whether print data that corresponds to the first user is stored in the storing unit or not, and, in a case where the corresponding print data is stored, print out the print data that is stored in the storing unit and corresponds to the first user without receiving, from the first user via the operation unit, a print instruction for printing out the print data that is stored in the storing unit and corresponds to the first user.   
     
     
         6 . A method for controlling an image forming apparatus that includes an operation unit and a storing unit, comprising:
 performing, upon a login of a first user to the image forming apparatus, print control to print out print data that is stored in the storing unit and corresponds to the first user without receiving, from the first user via the operation unit, a print instruction for printing out the print data that is stored in the storing unit and corresponds to the first user, and   performing, upon a login of a second user to the image forming apparatus, print control to print out print data that is stored in the storing unit and corresponds to the second user on condition that a print instruction for printing out the print data that is stored in the storing unit and corresponds to the second user is received from the second user via the operation unit.
