Abstract
A therapeutic eyewear frame is disclosed. A therapeutic agent is integrated with one or more frame before, during or after forming a material into the frame, the therapeutic agent having between 100 and 10,000 negative ions per cubic centimeter.
Claims
exact text as granted — not AI-modified1 . Therapeutic eyewear comprising:
an eyewear frame; and a therapeutic agent integrated with the eyewear frame, the therapeutic agent having between 100 and 10,000 negative ions per cubic centimeter.
2 . The therapeutic eyewear frame in accordance with claim 1 , wherein the therapeutic agent includes negative ion powder applied to a plurality of plastic pellets prior to being injection-moulded as the eyewear frame.
3 . The therapeutic eyewear frame in accordance with claim 1 , wherein the therapeutic agent includes tourmaline powder.
4 . The therapeutic eyewear frame in accordance with claim 1 , wherein the therapeutic agent has approximately 2,000 negative ions per cubic centimeter.
5 . The therapeutic eyewear frame in accordance with claim 1 , wherein the eyewear frame is formed of plastic.
6 . The therapeutic eyewear frame in accordance with claim 1 , wherein the eyewear frame is formed of metal.
7 . The therapeutic eyewear frame in accordance with claim 6 , wherein the therapeutic agent is applied to a surface of the metal
8 . A therapeutic eyewear frame comprising:
a frame front having a right temple bridge and a left temple bridge, the frame front supporting and at least partially framing one or more lenses; a therapeutic agent integrated with the frame front, the therapeutic agent having between 100 and 10,000 negative ions per cubic centimeter in one or more of the frame front, the right temple bridge, and the left temple bridge.
9 . The therapeutic eyewear frame in accordance with claim 8 , further comprising a pair of nose pads, and wherein the therapeutic agent is integrated with the pair of nose pads.
10 . The therapeutic eyewear frame in accordance with claim 8 , wherein the therapeutic agent includes tourmaline powder.
11 . The therapeutic eyewear frame in accordance with claim 8 , wherein the therapeutic agent has approximately 2,000 negative ions per cubic centimeter.
12 . The therapeutic eyewear frame in accordance with claim 8 , wherein the frame front, the right temple bridge, and the left temple bridge are formed of plastic.
13 . The therapeutic eyewear frame in accordance with claim 8 , wherein the frame front, the right temple, and the left temple are formed of metal.
14 . A method comprising:
providing a base material for an eyewear frame; forming the eyewear frame from the base material, the eyewear frame being formed into one or more of a frame front, a right temple bridge, and a left temple bridge, the frame front for supporting and at least partially framing one or more lenses; and integrating a therapeutic agent with one or more of the frame front, the right temple bridge and the left temple bridge during or after the forming, the therapeutic agent having between 100 and 10,000 negative ions per cubic centimeter.
15 . The method in accordance with claim 14 , wherein the base material is plastic, and wherein the forming further includes injection moulding the eyewear frome.
16 . The method in accordance with claim 15 , wherein integrating the therapeutic agent with one or more of the frame front, the right temple bridge and the left temple bridge further includes mixing negative ion powder with plastic pellets prior to the injection moulding.Join the waitlist — get patent alerts
