Method and Device for Implementing Multi-Cell Service on Base Station Device
Abstract
Embodiments of the present invention disclose a method and a device for implementing multi-cell service on a base station device, and relates to the communications field. The base station device includes at least two base station function entities, a base station function entity provides service to one or more cells and the base station function entity corresponds to a global identifier. The method further includes creating, by the base station device, a communication interface with a network node by using the global identifier. Data from the network node is received at the base station device by using the communication interface. The data is sent by the network node according to the global identifier of the base station function entity. The data is forwarded to the base station function entity corresponding to the global identifier of the base station function entity.
Claims
exact text as granted — not AI-modifiedWhat is claimed is:
1 . A method, comprising:
providing, by a base station device, a plurality of base station function entities, wherein each base station function entity provides one or more cells and uniquely identified by a global identifier; establishing, by the base station device, one communication interface with a network node; mapping, by the base station device, the one communication interface with all global identifiers of the plurality of base station function entities; and communicating, by the base station device via a base station function entity among the plurality of base station function entities, with the network node based on a global identifier uniquely identifying the base station function entity among the plurality of base station function entities.
2 . The method according to claim 1 , further comprising:
instructing, by the base station device, the network node to map the one communication interface with the global identifiers of the plurality of base station function entities.
3 . The method according to claim 1 , further comprising:
sending, by the base station device, a global identifier list to the network node, wherein the global identifier list comprises the global identifiers of the plurality of base station function entities.
4 . The method according to claim 1 , further comprising:
receiving, by the base station device, a global identifier uniquely identifying a base station function entity of the plurality of base station function entities and carried on a signaling sent from the network node; and receiving, through the base station function entity among the plurality of base station function entities, by the base station device, data sent from the network node.
5 . A base station device, comprising:
a plurality of base station function entities, wherein each base station function entity provides one or more cells and uniquely identified by a global identifier; and a processor, configured to:
establish one communication interface with a network node; and
map the one communication interface with all global identifiers of the plurality of base station function entities; and
wherein a base station function entity in the plurality of base station function entities is configured to communicate with the network node based on a global identifier uniquely identifying the base station function entity
6 . The base station device according to claim 5 , wherein the processor is further configured to instruct the network node to map the one communication interface with the global identifiers of the plurality of base station function entities.
7 . The base station device according to claim 5 , further comprising:
a transmitter configured to send a global identifier list to the network node, wherein the global identifier list comprises the global identifiers of the plurality of base station function entities.
8 . The base station device according to claim 5 , wherein
the base station device further comprises a receiver configured to receive a global identifier uniquely identifying a base station function entity in the plurality of base station function entities and carried on a signaling sent from the network node; and the base station function entity in the plurality of base station function entities is further configured to receive data sent from the network node.Join the waitlist — get patent alerts
