Abstract

A three-dimensional image simulation device for managing a live event comprising an image capturing device for capturing live captured data corresponding to a presenter and generating, in real-time, hologram data based on the live captured data. An output interface for broadcasting the hologram data in real-time to at least one additional location containing an audience, wherein the hologram data is used to create a hologram of the presenter at the at least one additional location based on an apparent parallax effect in a simulated three-dimensional display device, the hologram creating a three-dimensional illusion for the audience regarding actual presence of the presenter at the at least one additional location. Furthermore, an input interface for receiving audience data from the at least one additional location regarding interaction between the hologram and the audience and a display device for displaying images based on audience data to the presenter.

         11 . A simulated three-dimensional display device, at a first location, for displaying a live hologram, comprising:
 an input interface configured to receive, in real-time, data representing a live hologram of a presenter, wherein the data is based on live captured data corresponding to the presenter who is present at a second location;   a processor configured to generate a live hologram of the presenter based on the received data;   a display device configured to display the live hologram to an audience by creating an apparent parallax effect, the hologram creating a three-dimensional illusion for the audience regarding actual presence of the presenter at the first location;   an image capturing device configured to capture, in real-time, audience data regarding interaction between the hologram and the audience; and   an output interface configured to transmit the audience data from the first location to the second location, wherein the audience data includes at least one image displaying the audience that is presented to the presenter at the second location.   wherein the input interface is further configured to receive modified hologram data related to a modified hologram that gives the impression to an audience member in the audience that the presenter is directly looking at the audience member when that person is being addressed by the presenter on the display device, wherein the modified hologram data is generated based on the transmitted audience data, and   wherein the display device is further configured to display the modified hologram.

         14 . The stimulated three-dimensional display device of  claim 11 , wherein the display device comprises:
 a front display device; and   a background display device,   wherein the front display device comprises a transparent front display device, arranged to display a first image of a first program material which is to be observed by a viewer, and   the background display device arranged to display a second image of a second program material which is to be observed by a viewer,   wherein the front display device and the background display device are separated to provide the apparent parallax effect between the first image and the second image.

         19 . A method for displaying a live hologram at a first location of a presenter that is present at a second location, comprising:
 receiving, in real-time, data representing a live hologram of a presenter, wherein the data is based on live captured data corresponding to the presenter who is present at the second location;   generating a live hologram of the presenter based on the received data;   displaying, on a three-dimensional display device, the live hologram to an audience by creating an apparent parallax effect, the hologram creating a three-dimensional illusion for the audience regarding actual presence of the presenter at the first location;   capturing, in real-time, audience data regarding interaction between the hologram and the audience; and   transmitting the audience data from the first location to the second location, wherein the audience data is presented to the presenter at the second location; and   receiving modified hologram data related to a modified hologram that gives the impression to an audience member in the audience that the presenter is directly looking at the audience member when that person is being addressed by the presenter on the display device, wherein the modified hologram data is generated based on the transmitted audience data, and   displaying, on the three-dimensional display device, the modified hologram.

The method of  claim 19 , further comprising, wherein the parallax effect is created based on a front display device and a background display device, wherein the front display device comprises a transparent front display device, arranged to display a first image of a first program material which is to be observed by a viewer, and wherein the background display device arranged to display a second image of a second program material which is to be observed by a viewer. 
     
     
         21 . The simulated three-dimensional display device of  claim 11 , wherein the first location is an auditorium. 
     
     
         22 . The simulated three-dimensional display device of  claim 21 , wherein the second location comprises a studio that is geographically remote from the first location. 
     
     
         23 . The simulated three-dimensional display device of  claim 22 , wherein the studio contains green screens. 
     
     
         24 . The simulated three-dimensional display device of  claim 11 , wherein the audience data comprises image data and audio data. 
     
     
         25 . The simulated three-dimensional display device of  claim 24 , wherein the image data comprises data indicating a positional relationship between audience members and the simulated three-dimensional display device. 
     
     
         26 . The simulated three-dimensional display device of  claim 24 , wherein the image data comprises video data. 
     
     
         27 . The simulated three-dimensional display device of  claim 11 , wherein the live event comprises of a concert or a training seminar. 
     
     
         28 . The method of  claim 19 , wherein the first location is an auditorium.
