Brow brush applicator

Abstract

A cosmetic packaging that is structured to hold and dispense a generally solid cosmetic product. The packaging may include a barrel and a package head. The packaging may further include an applicator comb coupled to the package head adjacent to an end region of the package head. The applicator comb may have a first end configured to be coupled the package head, an application end, and a lumen extending therebetween.

What is claimed is: 
     
         1 . A cosmetic packaging comprising:
 a barrel having a first end and a second end, the barrel defining a cavity therein;   a package head having a first end region, a second end region, and defining a cavity for receiving a cosmetic product, the package head coupled to the second end of the barrel adjacent the first end region of the package head; and   an applicator comb coupled to the package head adjacent to the second end region of the package head;   wherein the applicator comb has a first end configured to be coupled the package head, an application end, and a lumen extending therebetween.   
     
     
         2 . The cosmetic packaging of  claim 1 , wherein the cosmetic product comprises a solid cosmetic product. 
     
     
         3 . The cosmetic packaging of  claim 2 , wherein the applicator comb comprises a thermoplastic elastomer, a silicone, or a metal. 
     
     
         4 . The cosmetic packaging of  claim 1 , wherein the application end of the applicator comb comprises a plurality of bristles. 
     
     
         5 . The cosmetic packaging of  claim 1 , wherein the application end of the applicator comb comprises a grooved surface. 
     
     
         6 . The cosmetic packaging of  claim 1 , wherein the application end of the applicator comb comprises a ridged surface. 
     
     
         7 . The cosmetic packaging of  claim 1 , wherein the application end of the applicator comb comprises a plurality of bumps. 
     
     
         8 . The cosmetic packaging of  claim 1 , wherein the application end of the applicator comb includes a texture formed by a molding process. 
     
     
         9 . The cosmetic packaging of  claim 1 , wherein the application end of the applicator comb comprises a smooth surface. 
     
     
         10 . The cosmetic packaging of  claim 1 , wherein the application end of the applicator comb further comprises a secondary coating disposed over a surface thereof. 
     
     
         11 . The cosmetic packaging of  claim 1 , wherein the applicator comb comprises a tear drop shape. 
     
     
         12 . The cosmetic packaging of  claim 1 , wherein the applicator comb comprises a circular shape. 
     
     
         13 . The cosmetic packaging of  claim 1 , wherein the applicator comb is overmolded on the package head. 
     
     
         14 . The cosmetic packaging of  claim 1 , wherein the cosmetic product comprises a stick-style cosmetic product. 
     
     
         15 . The cosmetic packaging of  claim 14 , wherein the cosmetic product comprises a lipstick, a foundation, an eyeshadow, an eyebrow color, an eyeliner, a face powder, a color corrector, a treatment, a washing compound, a moisturizing compound, a deodorant, or a haircare product. 
     
     
         16 . The cosmetic packaging of  claim 1 , further comprising an actuation mechanism movably disposed within the barrel and the package head, the actuation mechanism configured to move the cosmetic product between a storage configuration and a use configuration. 
     
     
         17 . The cosmetic packaging of  claim 1 , further comprising a cap, the cap configured to be removably coupled to the barrel. 
     
     
         18 . A cosmetic packaging comprising:
 a barrel having a first end and a second end, the barrel defining a cavity therein;   a package head having a first end region, a second end region, and defining a cavity for receiving a cosmetic product, the package head coupled to the second end of the barrel adjacent the first end region of the package head;   an applicator comb coupled to the package head adjacent to the second end region of the package head;   an actuation mechanism movably disposed within the barrel and the package head, the actuation mechanism configured to move the cosmetic product between a storage configuration and a use configuration; and   a cap configured to be removably coupled to the barrel;   wherein the applicator comb has a first end configured to be coupled the package head, an application end, and a lumen extending therebetween.   
     
     
         19 . The cosmetic packaging of  claim 18 , wherein the application end of the applicator comb comprises a textured surface. 
     
     
         20 . A cosmetic packaging comprising:
 a barrel having a first end and a second end, the barrel defining a cavity therein;   a package head having a first end region, a second end region, and defining a cavity for receiving a cosmetic product, the package head coupled to the second end of the barrel adjacent the first end region of the package head;   an applicator comb comprising a plurality of bristles in a tear drop shape and coupled to the package head adjacent to the second end region of the package head;   an actuation mechanism movably disposed within the barrel and the package head, the actuation mechanism configured to move the cosmetic product between a storage configuration and a use configuration; and   wherein the applicator comb comprises a thermoplastic elastomer and has a first end configured to be coupled the package head, an application end, and a lumen extending therebetween.
