Abstract
An adjustable mount is disclosed which can hold an electronic recording device on a hunting firearm like a rifle, so as to be able to record a kill and be able to look at the screen of the phone to see the crosshairs in the scope. The device makes it easier for younger kids to be able to make a shot and convenient for older hunters that have problems with their eyes to be able to see. The device enables sharing of the recording over a social computing based network.
Claims
exact text as granted — not AI-modifiedI claim:
1 . A light weight, durable, shock absorbent, adjustable, mounting assembly for holding an electronic recording device to a stock of a firearm for digitally viewing and recording a target through a scope attached to said firearm, said assembly comprises:
a detachable assembly holding unit, wherein said holding unit is attached to said stock of said firearm; a mounting unit; a longitudinally extending axis; an extending unit; a stabilizing unit; and an electronic recording device holding unit.
2 . An assembly as set forth in claim 1 , wherein said detachable assembly holding unit comprises:
a left hand adjustable panel; a right hand adjustable panel; a connecting hinge connecting said left hand adjustable panel and right hand adjustable panel; and an interlocking clip for locking said left hand adjustable panel and right hand adjustable panel to each other.
3 . An assembly as set forth in claim 2 , wherein said left hand adjustable panel comprises:
a first arm; a second arm; an adjustment gauge connecting said first and second arm of said left hand adjustable panel and facilitating adjustment of distance between said first and second arm; and an opening providing a mounting space/area on said first arm of said left hand adjustable panel.
4 . An assembly as set forth in claim 2 , wherein said right hand adjustable panel comprises:
a first arm; a second arm; an adjustment gauge connecting said first and second arm of said right hand adjustable panel and facilitating adjustment of distance between said first and second arm; and an opening providing a mounting space/area on said first arm of said right hand adjustable panel.
5 . An assembly as set forth in claim 1 , wherein said mounting unit comprise of a mounting arrangement placed within said mounting space of at least one of left hand adjustable panel and right hand adjustable panel and an extended limb with a securing means.
6 . An assembly as set forth in claim 1 , wherein said longitudinally extending axis comprise:
a mounting arrangement; and a mounting arm.
7 . An assembly as set forth in claim 6 , wherein said longitudinally extending axis is detachably secured to said extended limb of said mounting unit via said mounting arrangement.
8 . An assembly as set forth in claim 6 , wherein said mounting arm comprise of a mounting groove provides area for longitudinal movement within said mounting arm.
9 . An assembly as set forth in claim 1 , wherein said extending unit comprises:
a first coupling arrangement; a U-shaped member; a second coupling arrangement; and an extending member.
10 . An assembly as set forth in claim 9 , wherein said first coupling arrangement provides coupling of said longitudinally extending axis with U-shaped member of said extending unit.
11 . An assembly as set forth in claim 9 , wherein said first coupling arrangement provides a longitudinally circular movement of said U-shaped member.
12 . An assembly as set forth in claim 9 , wherein said second coupling arrangement provide coupling of said extending member.
13 . An assembly as set forth in claim 9 , wherein said U-shaped member has two limbs to provide a to and fro movement of said second coupling arrangement along said U-shaped member for adjustment of height of said extending member.
14 . An assembly as set forth in claim 9 , wherein said extending member connects said extending unit to said stabilizing unit.
15 . An assembly as set forth in claim 1 , wherein said stabilizing unit comprise:
a stabilizing bar; a coupling unit; and a connecting unit.
16 . An assembly as set forth in claim 15 , wherein said stabilizing bar is coupled to said extending member of said extending unit via said coupling unit.
17 . An assembly as set forth in claim 15 , wherein said stabilizing bar is connected to said electronic recording device holding unit via said connecting unit.
18 . An assembly as set forth in claim 1 , wherein said electronic recording device holding unit comprise of a resiliently flexible holding panel to hold said electronic recording device.
19 . An assembly as set forth in claim 1 , wherein said electronic recording device provides sharing of said recoded target over a social computing based network.
20 . Assemblies as set forth in claim 1 , wherein said electronic recording device selected from a group consisting of a smart phone, camera, tablet computer, PDA.Join the waitlist — get patent alerts
