Abstract

A sock system for PURPOSE includes a sock that may be worn and the sock has a cuff. A strap is coupled to the sock and the strap may be manipulated. The strap is positioned on the cuff. The strap is manipulated to select a tightness of the cuff on a user. Thus, the user may select an amount of pressure the cuff imparts to the user.

5 . A sock system having an adjustable cuff, said system comprising:
a sock being configured to be worn, said sock having a cuff; a strap being coupled to said sock wherein said strap is configured to be manipulated, said strap being positioned on said cuff wherein said strap is configured to select a tightness of said cuff on a user thereby facilitating the user to select an amount of pressure said cuff imparts to the user, said strap having a distal end with respect to said sock and a first surface, said strap having a length corresponding to about half a circumference of said cuff; a first coupler being coupled to said strap, said first coupler being positioned in said first surface; and a second coupler being coupled to said sock, said second coupler being aligned with said cuff, said second coupler extending around said cuff such that a portion of said second cuff extends beyond a point on said cuff diametrically opposed to a proximal end of said strap relative to said sock, said first coupler being complementary with respect to said second coupler, said distal end of said strap being positioned at a selected point on said second coupler wherein said strap is configured to be retained at a selected tightness.
