Abstract

The invention relates to an embroidered stick for attaching to and displaying on an article. The embroidered stick comprises a hole for attaching it to an article. The embroidered sticks can be obtained by users as rewards, incentives, to promote certain behaviors, activities, events, messages, logos, mascots, achievements, campaigns, brands, products and/or services, companies, organizations, themes or the like.

I claim: 
     
         1 . An embroidered stick for attaching to and displaying on an article, wherein the embroidered stick comprises a hole for attaching one of its ends to the article. 
     
     
         2 . The embroidered stick of  claim 1 , wherein the article is selected from the group consisting of a keychain, shoe lace, zipper, backpack, article of clothing, and a lanyard. 
     
     
         3 . The embroidered stick of  claim 1 , wherein the embroidered stick is obtained by a user as a reward or incentive. 
     
     
         4 . The embroidered stick of  claim 1 , wherein the embroidered stick is obtained by a user to promote one or more behaviors, activities, events, messages, logos, mascots, achievements, campaigns, brands, products and/or services, companies, organizations, or themes. 
     
     
         5 . The embroidered stick of  claim 1 , wherein the hole is reinforced. 
     
     
         6 . The embroidered stick of  claim 1 , wherein the embroidered stick is substantially rectangular in shape and is from about 1.75″ to about 4.5″×about 0.3″ to about 1.0″ and is about 0.01″ to about 0.2″ in thickness. 
     
     
         7 . The embroidered stick of  claim 1 , wherein the embroidered stick is made from a material selected from the group consisting of polyester, nylon, rayon, cotton and metallic threads sewn on fabric. 
     
     
         8 . The embroidered stick of  claim 7 , wherein the fabric is selected from the group consisting of denim, cotton, polyester, felt and wool. 
     
     
         9 . The embroidered stick of  claim 1 , wherein the embroidered stick is 100% fully embroidered on twill. 
     
     
         10 . The embroidered stick of  claim 1 , wherein the embroidered stick comprises a border made with a satin stitch and that is laser cut. 
     
     
         11 . The embroidered stick of  claim 1 , wherein the embroidered stick does not comprise a backing. 
     
     
         12 . The embroidered stick of  claim 1 , wherein the embroidered stick comprises a woven or non-woven material added as a backing. 
     
     
         13 . The embroidered stick of  claim 12 , wherein the backing is selected from the group consisting of plastic, Velcro, iron on and sticky adhesive. 
     
     
         14 . The embroidered stick of  claim 1 , wherein the embroidered stick is embellished by affixing it with another object. 
     
     
         15 . The embroidered stick of  claim 14 , wherein the other object is selected from the group consisting of bells, ornaments and ribbons. 
     
     
         16 . The embroidered stick of  claim 1 , wherein the embroidered stick does not curl along its sides upon use. 
     
     
         17 . A method for rewarding an accomplishment, comprising providing an activity to a user; and providing one or more embroidered sticks to the user for achievement by the user of a goal within the activity, wherein the embroidered stick comprises a hole for attaching one of its ends to the user's possessions. 
     
     
         18 . The method of  claim 17 , wherein the user is a student. 
     
     
         19 . The method of  claim 17 , wherein the user is an employee. 
     
     
         20 . A method for rewarding a student for achievement of a selected activity, comprising providing the student with an embroidered stick relating to the student's activity, which can be attached to and displayed on the student's possessions, the stick comprising a hole for attaching one of its ends to the student's possessions, wherein the embroidered stick does not curl along its sides during use.
