Abstract
A device for supporting garments in a housing space includes an upright component, a crosspiece component connected to the upright component, and an articulation group for articulating the upright component to at least one panel around a first articulation axis (x-x) between a first position or raised position and a second position or lowered position.

exact text as granted — not AI-modified1 . A device for supporting garments in a housing space, comprising:
at least one upright component; at least one crosspiece component connected to said at least one upright component; an articulation group for articulating said at least one upright component to at least one panel about a first articulation axis between a first position or raised position and a second position or lowered position wherein said crosspiece component is at a lower level with respect to said first position; wherein said articulation group comprises at least one resisting element yieldingly opposing movements of said at least one upright component between said first position and said second position, adjustment means for adjusting resistant torque applied by said at least one resisting element in a passage from said first position to said second position, said adjustment means increasing said resistant torque when said at least one upright component is moved from said first position to at least one intermediate position between said first and said second position.

The device according to claim 1 , wherein said at least one resisting element is connected to said at least one upright component so as to apply to the at least one upright component a resistant force along an application direction, said adjustment means increasing the distance between said application direction and said articulation axis when said at least one upright component is moved from said first position to said intermediate position.
3 . The device according to claim 2 , wherein said at least one resisting element comprises a stem or a cylinder pivoted to said adjustment means and wherein said application direction is defined by a longitudinal extension of said stem or of said cylinder.
4 . The device according to claim 1 , wherein said adjustment means comprise at least one first engagement component constrained to said at least one resisting element a second engagement component constrainable to a panel and engaging said first engagement component.

The device according to claim 4 , wherein said at least one first engagement component comprises a first toothed section pivoted around a second axis to said at least one resisting element and around a third axis to said articulation group, and said at least one second engagement component comprises a second toothed section fixable to a panel and engaging said first toothed section.

The device according to claim 5 , wherein said first toothed section has a substantially curved toothed portion, and said second toothed section has a substantially curved extension and the radii of curvature of said substantially curved toothed portion and said second toothed section are not coaxial neither with respect to each other nor with said articulation axis.
7 . The device according to claim 6 , wherein said substantially curved toothed portion and said second toothed section have a respective non-constant radius of curvature and thus their radius of curvature is variable from one end to the other.

The device according to claim 6 , wherein said first toothed section comprises a base block having two main faces and a shaped edge having on one side said substantially curved toothed portion and on the other side a curved edge portion, and wherein in said base block two through holes are formed, a first hole for pivoting said first toothed section around said second axis to said resisting element and a second hole for pivoting said first toothed section around said third axis to said articulation group and wherein the teeth of said toothed portion extend around said second hole, and the distance of said toothed portion from said second hole decreases from a first end to a second end of said toothed portion.

The device according to claim 5 , wherein said at least one second toothed section has a substantially curved extension, with a first end engageable by said first toothed section when said upright component is in said first position, and a second end engageable by said first toothed section when said upright component is in said second position, said second end of said second toothed section being closer to said first articulation axis with respect to said first end of said second toothed section.
10 . The device according to claim 3 , wherein said stem is pivoted to said at least one first engagement component.

The device according to claim 3 , wherein said at least one resisting element comprises a cylinder and a stem removable from said cylinder and insertable into said cylinder, said cylinder or said stem being pivoted to said at least one upright component, and the other of said stem and said cylinder is pivoted to said adjustment means.
12 . The device as claimed in claim 11 , wherein said cylinder or said stem extends within said at least one upright component, whereas the other of said stem or said cylinder extends outside said at least one upright component.
13 . The device according to claim 1 , wherein said articulation group comprises a box or a casing for delimiting a positioning and containment zone (PZ) of all or some of the components of said group, said casing being pivoted to a respective panel about said first articulation axis.
14 . The device according to claim 13 , wherein said adjustment means are located in said positioning zone (PZ) of said casing.
15 . The device according to claim 3 , wherein said stem or said cylinder of said resisting element is located in said positioning zone (PZ) of said casing.
16 . The device according to claim 11 , wherein said casing delimits a seat for a first end, lower during use, of said upright component, said stem or said cylinder of said resisting element being mounted and exiting outward from said first end.
17 . The device according to claim 1 , comprising at least one stop element of said at least one upright component in said first position and/or in said second position.
18 . The device according to claim 17 , wherein said at least one stop element comprises a damping piston element abutting against an abutment surface when said at least one upright component is moved towards said second position, thereby slowing the movement of said device until said at least one upright component reaches said second position.
19 . The device according to claim 1 , wherein said at least one crosspiece component comprises a first section and a second section, said second section having a part inserted inside said first section, said second section delimiting a through longitudinal gap open at a first end and a second end of said second section, and locking means for locking said second section, with respect to and into said first section, said locking means comprising a tensioning element inserted into said through longitudinal gap and engaging at an end thereof a cap component fitted by engagement with the respective end of said tensioning element into said first end of said second section, causing an expansion of said first end of said second section and the consequent engagement of said second section to said first section.
