Book combining physical and digital media

Abstract

A book which simultaneously displays physical content and related digital media. The content and coordination of the digital and physical media will be established by the end user of the book. The book may display specific digital media via an electronic device in response to the selection of specific physical page.

         18 . A book for use by an end user, the book comprising:
 i. a first page and a second page, wherein a first portion of at least one of said first page and said second page comprises a void therethrough;   ii. an electronic device comprising:
 a. a non-volatile computer memory, and a processor unit; 
 b. a display face in communication with said processor unit; 
   iii. wherein said electronic device is attached to the book;   iv. wherein said display face is oriented co-planer to at least one of said first page and said second page, and visible through said void;   v. wherein said electronic device stores a first media and a second media;
 a. wherein said first media and said second media are stored on said electronic device by such end user; 
 b. wherein said first media is associated with a first content displayed on said first page by such end user;
 1. wherein said first content is provided by such end user; 
 
 c. wherein said second media is associated with a second content displayed on said second page by such end user;
 1. wherein said second content is provided by such end user; 
 
   vi. wherein said first media is displayed via said electronic device in response to said first page being selected and said second media is displayed on said electronic device in response to said second page being selected; and   vii. wherein said video screen is touch sensitive, allowing such end user to control said electronic device.   
     
     
         19 . The book of claim  1 , wherein the electronic device further comprises: an audio output component in communication with the processor unit. 
     
     
         20 . The book of claim  1 , wherein the pages are removably attached to the book. 
     
     
         21 . The book of claim  1 , wherein the electronic device displays the media in high definition. 
     
     
         22 . The book of claim  1 , further comprising a spine, wherein the spine comprises a hollow void. 
     
     
         23 . The book of claim  5 , wherein the hollow void contains a cable having a first end and a second end, wherein the first end comprises a first connector that is compatible with a port present on an input/output module of the electronic device, and wherein the second end comprises a second connector. 
     
     
         24 . The book of claim  6 , further comprising a power supply unit, wherein the power supply unit comprises a port that is compatible with the second connector of the second end of the cable. 
     
     
         25 . The book of claim  7 , wherein the spine further comprises a removable cover, wherein the removable cover provides access to the hollow void. 
     
     
         26 . The book of claim  8 , wherein the removable cover comprises the power supply unit.
