Abstract
A mobile device system comprising a global positioning satellite processor to locate a position of the mobile device, a mobile display interface for displaying at least one event and the position on a map and an event processor coupled to a server and a remote database and to filter at least one event in the mobile display interface, wherein the at least one filtered event includes a destination and is filtered from a plurality of categories based on selected criteria, wherein a collection of events is selected from the database based on the selected criteria, and displayed on the map as the destination.

a global positioning satellite processor to locate a position of the mobile device; a mobile display interface for displaying at least one event and the position on a map; and an event processor coupled to a server and a remote database and to filter at least one event in the mobile display interface, wherein the at least one filtered event includes a destination and is filtered from a plurality of categories based on selected criteria, wherein a collection of events is selected from the database based on the selected criteria, and displayed on the map as the destination.
2 . The system of claim 1 , wherein the server is further caused to display a particular advertisement in the mobile display interface, wherein the particular advertisement is filtered from the database.

The system of claim 1 , wherein the plurality of categories includes personal preferences, wherein the personal preferences includes at least one of age ranges, gender selections, public event selection, private event selection, organization sponsor selection, activity types, locations, family event selection, single event selection, and free event selection.
4 . The system of claim 1 , wherein users collaboratively contribute to content regarding the event.
5 . A method comprising:
receiving a request from a server to display at least one filtered event in a mobile display interface of a mobile device; locating a position of the mobile device with a global positioning satellite processor, wherein the at least one filtered event is filtered from a plurality of categories based on selected criteria, wherein a collection of events is selected from an event database based on the selected criteria; and displaying the at least one filtered event as targeted advertisements based on a search criteria.
6 . The method of claim 5 , wherein the server is further caused to perform displaying the targeted advertisements of the at least one event based on target market, and the target market includes target activity types.
7 . The method of claim 5 , wherein the server is further caused to perform targeting the display of the at least one event based on target market, and the target market includes at least one of target age range or target gender.
8 . The method of claim 5 , wherein the server is further caused to perform targeting the display of the at least one event based on target market, and the target market includes target time of day and includes target city, town or region.
9 . The method of claim 5 , wherein the server is further caused to perform targeting the display of the at least one event based on target market, and the target market includes at least one of target venue or target organization or target prices.
10 . The method of claim 5 , wherein the server is further caused to perform targeting the display of the at least one event based on target market, and the targeted advertisement includes advertisements available to a private group or a public group.

The method of claim 5 , wherein the categories include at least one of age-specific events, gender-specific events, public event selection, private event selection, organization sponsor selection, event activity types, locations, family event selection, single event selection, and free event selection.
12 . The method of claim 5 , wherein the server is further caused to perform targeting the display of the at least one event based on target market, and uses selections previously made associated with the mobile device system.
13 . The method of claim 5 , wherein the server is further caused to perform dynamical updating the display of the at least one event based upon selections of the categories.
14 . A target advertising system comprising:
a mobile device coupled to a server; a global positioning satellite processor to automatically activate a network to determine a current location of the mobile device; a database on the server to store a plurality of events including at least one advertisement and a geographical destination; an advertising processor to automatically and dynamically populate the database with event information from an electronic feed or website content, to accept input to create a new event for a. geographical region, wherein the geographical region is at least one of: a city, a state or a region, to filter the plurality of events, wherein at least one filtered event is filtered from the database based on a used search criteria or based on the determined current location of the mobile device; and a display device to automatically target the at least one filtered event to the mobile device, the display module to dynamically populate a mobile display interface with the at least one filtered event
15 . The system of claim 14 , wherein the server is further caused to display a particular advertisement in the display device, wherein the particular advertisement is filtered from the database.

The system of claim 14 , wherein the plurality of categories includes personal preferences, wherein the personal preferences includes at least one of age ranges, gender selections, public event selection, private event selection, organization sponsor selection, activity types, locations, family event selection, single event selection, and free event selection.
17 . The system of claim 14 , wherein the server allows users to collaboratively contribute to content regarding the event.
18 . The system of claim 14 , wherein the server is further caused to perform targeting the display of the at least one event based on target market, and the target market includes at least one of target venue or target organization or target prices.
19 . The system of claim 14 , wherein the server is further caused to perform targeting the display of the at least one event based on target market, and uses selections previously made associated with the mobile device system.
