Abstract

A kit-of-parts of a cup part and a separate cover together form a coffee cup. The cup part includes bottom wall and a circumferential side wall with a circular flange extending outwardly from an upper end of the side wall. The flange has an outer edge. The cover includes a substantially flat circular central portion configured to engage the upper surface of the cup part and to cover the upper opening. A skirt extends downwardly from the circumference of the central portion and is configured to be bent around the outer edge of the flange. A circular beaded edge defines the end of the skirt, where the beaded edge of the cover extends outwardly from the skirt over a distance the beaded edge being configured to be deformed against an underside of the flange to secure the cover onto the cup part and form the coffee cup.
