Abstract
Vascular treatment and methods include a plurality of self-expanding bulbs and a hypotube including interspersed patterns of longitudinally spaced rows of kerfs. Joints between woven structures and hypotubes include solder. Woven structures include patterns of radiopaque filaments measurable under x-ray. Structures are heat treated to include at least shapes at different temperatures. A catheter includes a hypotube including interspersed patterns of longitudinally spaced rows of kerfs. Heat treating systems include a detachable flange. Laser cutting systems include a fluid flow system.

. A thrombectomy device comprising:
a plurality of wires woven to form a textile structure having a collapsed configuration and an expanded configuration, the textile structure comprising five to ten self-expanding bulbs in the expanded configuration, the five to ten self-expanding bulbs in the expanded configuration comprising three or more sizes in series and each bulb of the five to ten self-expanding bulbs having a larger outer diameter in the expanded configuration than an adjacent bulb of the five to ten self-expanding bulbs; and a delivery system coupled to a first end of the textile structure.
. The device of claim 4 , wherein the textile structure comprises six said self-expanding bulbs.
. The device of claim 4 , wherein the textile structure comprises ten said self-expanding bulbs.
. The device of claim 4 , wherein the delivery system comprises a multi-filament hybrid.
. The device of claim 7 , wherein the multi-filament hybrid comprises twelve wires.
. The device of claim 4 , wherein the delivery system comprises a multi-filament hybrid comprising twelve wires, wherein at least one bulb of the five to ten self-expanding bulbs has a spherical shape in the expanded configuration, and wherein the textile structure comprises a distal neck having a same outer diameter in the collapsed configuration and in the expanded configuration.
. A thrombectomy device comprising:
a plurality of wires woven to form a textile structure having a collapsed configuration and an expanded configuration, the textile structure comprising five to ten self-expanding bulbs in the expanded configuration, the five to ten self-expanding bulbs in the expanded configuration comprising three or more sizes in series and an end bulb of the five to ten self-expanding bulbs is larger than a middle bulb of the five to ten self-expanding bulbs in the expanded configuration; and a delivery system coupled to a first end of the textile structure.
. The device of claim 10 , wherein the textile structure comprises six said self-expanding bulbs.
. The device of claim 10 , wherein the textile structure comprises ten said self-expanding bulbs.
. The device of claim 10 , wherein the delivery system comprises a multi-filament hybrid.
. The device of claim 13 , wherein the multi-filament hybrid comprises twelve wires.
. The device of claim 10 , wherein the end bulb is a proximal end bulb of the five to ten self expanding bulbs.
. The device of claim 10 , wherein the delivery system comprises a multi-filament hybrid comprising twelve wires, wherein at least one bulb of the five to ten self-expanding bulbs has a spherical shape in the expanded configuration, and wherein the textile structure comprises a distal neck having a same outer diameter in the collapsed configuration and in the expanded configuration.
. A thrombectomy device comprising:
a plurality of wires woven to form a textile structure having a collapsed configuration and an expanded configuration, the textile structure comprising five to ten self-expanding bulbs in the expanded configuration, the five to ten self-expanding bulbs in the expanded configuration comprising three or more sizes in series; and a delivery system coupled to a first end of the textile structure.
. The device of claim 17 , wherein at least one bulb of the five to ten self-expanding bulbs has a spherical shape in the expanded configuration.
. The device of claim 17 , wherein the textile structure comprises six said self-expanding bulbs.
. The device of claim 17 , wherein the textile structure comprises ten said self-expanding bulbs.
. The device of claim 17 , wherein the delivery system comprises a multi-filament hybrid.
. The device of claim 21 , wherein the multi-filament hybrid comprises twelve wires.
. The device of claim 22 , wherein at least one bulb of the five to ten self-expanding bulbs has a spherical shape in the expanded configuration, wherein the textile structure comprises a distal neck having a same outer diameter in the collapsed configuration and in the expanded configuration, wherein first end of the textile structure comprises the distal end of the textile structure, and wherein the delivery system is coupled to the distal end of the textile structure at a joint comprising a bonding agent.Join the waitlist — get patent alerts
