Abstract

A dyeing device for dyeing hair, the dyeing device including a delivery unit ( 2 ) for transferring dyeing agent to a hair ( 7 ). The delivery unit ( 2 ) includes a dyeing space ( 8 ) arranged to a container-like holder ( 9 ). For the dyeing device to permit the dyeing of an individual hair ( 7 ) that differs in tone from other hairs from the root end to the hair end without needing to dye the entire head of hair or larger hair areas containing numerous hairs, the delivery unit includes a guide element in the form of a passage ( 17 ) for receiving and guiding the individual hair ( 7 ) in the dyeing space ( 8 ) and for guiding the dyeing device in the longitudinal direction of the individual hair ( 7 ), and the bottom part of the container-like holder ( 9 ) tapers down-ward.

Claims

exact text as granted — not AI-modified
1 - 9 . (canceled)

10 . A dyeing device for dyeing hair, the device comprising a delivery means transferring dyeing agent to an individual hair, the delivery means being in association with an elongated handle and comprising a dyeing space arranged to a container-like holder with a slot for receiving the individual hair crosswise to the longitudinal direction of the hair for the purpose of guiding the hair into the dyeing space that is arranged to surround the individual hair for applying the dyeing agent essentially to the entire circumference of the hair, wherein the slot leads to a guide means in the dyeing space and in the form of a passage for receiving and guiding the individual hair in the dyeing space and for guiding the dyeing device in the longitudinal direction of the individual hair, and in that the bottom part of the container-like holder tapers downward.

11 . The dyeing device as claimed in claim 10 , wherein the container-like holder is conical.

12 . The dyeing device as claimed in claim 10 , wherein the passage is formed at the bottom end of the holder.

13 . The dyeing device as claimed in claim 10 , wherein the container-like holder is connected to the handle by an elongated nose.

14 . The dyeing device as claimed in claim 10 , wherein the container-like holder is made of rubber or a rubber-like material.

15 . The dyeing device as claimed in claim 10 , wherein the dyeing space has an element made of flexible material for containing dyeing agent, and the element made of flexible material has a slot for guiding a hair crosswise to the longitudinal direction of the hair into said passage.

16 . The dyeing device as claimed in claim 15 , wherein the element made of flexible material is of a porous material at least on its surface for the purpose of attaching dyeing agent thereto.

17 . The dyeing device as claimed in 10 , wherein the elongated handle has a dyeing agent container for dyeing agent and from the dyeing agent container, a channel leads to the dyeing space, the volume of the space being smaller than that of the dyeing agent container.

18 . The dyeing device as claimed in claim 17 , wherein the device comprises a valve device that in its open position is arranged to permit the passage of dyeing agent from the dyeing agent container to the dyeing space, and in its closed position, the valve device is arranged to prevent the passage of dyeing agent to the dyeing space.
