Abstract
Embodiments of the present disclosure provide a communications method, device, and terminal. The method includes: determining that a micro network cooperated with a macro network is in a channel tailor mode, wherein some common physical channels except a pilot channel of the micro network are in a disabled state so that the micro network is disabled from supporting initial access of a terminal; monitoring whether a terminal on a macro network has a service requirement on the micro network; and sending a network handover instruction that comprises configuration information of the micro network to the terminal if the terminal has a service requirement on the micro network, wherein the network handover instruction is used to instruct the terminal to hand over from the macro network to the micro network.

1 . A communications method, comprising:
determining, by a network-side communications device of a macro network, that a micro network cooperated with the macro network is in a channel tailor mode, wherein some common physical channels except a pilot channel of the micro network are in a disabled state so that the micro network is disabled from supporting initial access of a user terminal; monitoring, by the network-side communications device, whether a terminal on the macro network has a service requirement on the micro network; and sending, by the network-side communications device, a network handover instruction that comprises configuration information of the micro network to the terminal if the terminal has a service requirement on the micro network, the network handover instruction instructing the terminal to hand over from the macro network to the micro network.
2 . The method according to claim 1 , further comprising:
enabling, by the network-side communications device, some or all of the common physical channels of the micro network in the disabled state.
3 . The method according to claim 1 , further comprising:
monitoring, by the network-side communications device, whether the terminal has a service requirement on the micro network after the terminal has handed over to the micro network; and sending another network handover instruction to the terminal if the terminal has no service requirement on the micro network, wherein the another network handover instruction is instructs the terminal to hand over from the micro network to the macro network.
4 . The method according to claim 1 , wherein the monitoring whether the terminal has a service requirement on the micro network comprises:
monitoring whether a data service volume of the terminal reaches a service volume threshold; and upon the data service volume of the terminal reaching the service volume threshold, determining that the terminal has the service requirement on the micro network.
5 . The method according to claim 1 , wherein the monitoring whether the terminal has a service requirement on the micro network comprises:
monitoring whether a service volume notification message of the terminal is received, the service volume notification message indicating that the data service volume of the terminal reaches the service volume threshold; and upon receipt of the service volume notification message of the terminal, determining that the terminal has the service requirement on the micro network.
6 . The method according to claim 1 , wherein the monitoring whether the terminal has a service requirement on the micro network comprises:
monitoring whether a network handover request of the terminal is received, the network handover request being used to request a handover to the micro network; and upon receipt of the network handover request, determining that the terminal has the service requirement on the micro network.
7 . The method according to claim 3 , wherein the monitoring whether the terminal has a service requirement on the micro network comprises:
monitoring whether a data service volume of the terminal is less than a service volume threshold; and upon determining the data service volume of the terminal is less than the service volume threshold, determining that the terminal has no service requirement on the micro network.
8 . The method according to claim 3 , wherein the monitoring whether the terminal has a service requirement on the micro network comprises:
monitoring whether a service volume notification message of the terminal is received, the service volume notification message indicating that a service volume of the terminal is less than the service volume threshold; and upon receipt of the service volume notification message of the terminal, determining that the terminal has no service requirement on the micro network.
9 . The method according to claim 3 , wherein the monitoring whether the terminal has a service requirement on the micro network comprises:
monitoring whether a network handover request of the terminal is received, the network handover request being used to request a handover to the macro network; and upon receipt of the network handover request of the terminal, determining that the terminal has no service requirement on the micro network.
10 . A network-side communications device of a macro network, comprising:
a computing hardware; and a non-transitory computer readable storage medium including computer instructions executable by the computing hardware to perform a method comprising:
determining that a micro network cooperated with the macro network is in a channel tailor mode, wherein some common physical channels except a pilot channel of the micro network are in a disabled state so that the micro network is disabled from supporting initial access of a user terminal;
monitoring whether a terminal on the macro network has a service requirement on the micro network; and
sending a network handover instruction that comprises configuration information of the micro network to the terminal if the terminal has a service requirement on the micro network, the network handover instruction instructing the terminal to hand over from the macro network to the micro network.
11 . The device according to claim 10 , wherein the method performed by the computing hardware further comprises:
enabling some or all of the common physical channels of the micro network in the disabled state.
12 . The device according to claim 10 , wherein the method performed by the computing hardware further comprises:
monitoring whether the terminal has a service requirement on the micro network after the terminal has handed over to the micro network; and sending another network handover instruction to the terminal if the terminal has no service requirement on the micro network, the another network handover instruction instructing the terminal to hand over from the micro network to the macro network.
13 . The device according to claim 10 , wherein the monitoring whether the terminal has a service requirement on the micro network comprising:
monitoring whether a data service volume of the terminal reaches a service volume threshold; and upon data service volume of the terminal reaching the service volume threshold, determining that the terminal has a service requirement on the micro network.
14 . The device according to claim 10 , wherein the monitoring whether the terminal has a service requirement on the micro network comprising:
monitoring whether a service volume notification message of the terminal is received, the service volume notification message indicating that the data service volume of the terminal reaches the service volume threshold; and upon receipt of the service volume notification message of the terminal, determining that the terminal has the service requirement on the micro network.
15 . The device according to claim 10 , wherein the monitoring whether the terminal has a service requirement on the micro network comprising:
monitoring whether a network handover request of the terminal is received, the network handover request being used to request a handover to the micro network; and upon receipt of the network handover request, determining that the terminal has the service requirement on the micro network.
16 . The device according to claim 12 , wherein the monitoring whether the terminal has a service requirement on the micro network, comprising:
monitoring whether a network handover request of the terminal is received, the network handover request being used to request a handover to the macro network; and upon receipt of the network handover request of the terminal, determining that the terminal has no service requirement on the micro network.
17 . A terminal, comprising:
a computing hardware; and a non-transitory computer readable storage medium including computer instructions executable by the computing hardware to perform a method that comprises:
accessing and camping on a macro network;
sending a service request to a network-side communications device of the macro network;
receiving a network handover instruction from the network-side communications device, the network handover instruction comprising configuration information of a micro network that is cooperated with the macro network and is in a channel tailor mode, whereby some common physical channels except a pilot channel of the micro network are in a disabled state so that the micro network is disabled from supporting initial access of a terminal;
handing over from the macro network to the micro network.
18 . The terminal according claim 17 , wherein the service request comprises a network handover request, the network handover request being used to request a handover to the macro network.
19 . The terminal according claim 17 , wherein the method performed by the computing hardware further comprises:
measuring signal quality of the micro network according to the pilot channel of the micro network; and sending a measurement report to the network-side communications device upon a signal quality of the micro network reaching a quality threshold before receiving a network handover instruction from the network-side communications device, the measurement report indicating to the network-side communications device that the signal quality of the micro network reaches the quality threshold.
20 . The terminal according claim 17 , wherein the method performed by the computing hardware further comprises:
monitoring whether a data service volume of the terminal reaches a service volume threshold; and sending a service volume notification message to the network-side communications device upon the data service volume of the terminal reaching the service volume threshold before receiving a network handover instruction from the network-side communications device, the service volume notification message indicating that the data service volume of the terminal reaches the service volume threshold.Join the waitlist — get patent alerts
