Abstract

A method of combining games based on levels of interactivity of the games is disclosed. It is identified that a player is idle with respect to a primary game, the primary game having a first level of interactivity. A secondary game having a second level of interactivity is selected based on the second level of interactivity being compatible with the first level of interactivity. The player is provided with an option to participate in the secondary game while the player is idle with respect to the primary game.

         2 . A system comprising:
 a game networking system having one or more computer processors;   one or more modules incorporated into the game networking system, the one or more modules configuring the one or more computer processors to communicate a user interface for presentation on a device, the user interface allowing a user of the game networking system to perform a set of actions with respect to a set of suggested asynchronous games, each of the set of suggested asynchronous games being between the user and one of a set of additional users of the game networking system, the user interface including a scrollable set of user interface elements, each of the scrollable set of user interface elements including an activatable element for performing an action with respect to a game of the set of suggested asynchronous games, the action including one of initiating the game, taking a turn in the game, or reviewing a result of the game after the has been completed, a performing of the action by the user causing the activatable element to be replaced by a different activatable element, the different activatable element corresponding to a different action available to be performed by the user with respect to the game.   
     
     
         3 . The system of  claim 1 , wherein the user interface is presented on the device simultaneously with an additional user interface, the additional user interface corresponding to a synchronous game being played by the user. 
     
     
         4 . The system of  claim 3 , wherein the presenting of the user interface is based on the user having idle time with respect to the synchronous game.

The system of  claim 1 , the one or more modules further configuring the one or more processors to select each of the suggested games based on a level of interest of each of the additional users, the level of interest measured by how often each of the additional players has played one of the set of asynchronous games. 
     
     
         6 . The system of  claim 1 , the one or more modules further configuring the one or more processors to select the additional users of the game networking system based on a previous engagement levels between the user and each of the additional users. 
     
     
         7 . The system of  claim 1 , the one or more modules further configuring the one or more processors to sort the scrollable set of user interface elements based on a level of interest of each of the additional users, the level of interest measured by how often each of the additional players has played one of the set of asynchronous games. 
     
     
         8 . A system comprising:
 incorporating one or more modules into the game networking system, the one or more modules configuring the one or more computer processors of the game networking system to communicate a user interface for presentation on a device, the user interface allowing a user of the game networking system to perform a set of actions with respect to a set of suggested asynchronous games, each of the set of suggested asynchronous games being between the user and one of a set of additional users of the game networking system, the user interface including a scrollable set of user interface elements, each of the scrollable set of user interface elements including an activatable element for performing an action with respect to a game of the set of suggested asynchronous games, the action including one of initiating the game, taking a turn in the game, or reviewing a result of the game after the game has been completed, a performing of the action by the user causing the activatable element to be replaced by a different activatable element, the different activatable element corresponding to a different action available to be performed by the user with respect to the game.   
     
     
         9 . The method of  claim 8 , wherein the user interface is presented on the device simultaneously with an additional user interface, the additional user interface corresponding to a synchronous game being played by the user. 
     
     
         10 . The method of  claim 9 , wherein the presenting of the user interface is based on the user having idle time with respect to the synchronous game. 
     
     
         11 . The method of  claim 8 , further comprising selecting each of the suggested games based on a level of interest of each of the additional users, the level of interest measured by how often each of the additional players has played one of the set of asynchronous games. 
     
     
         12 . The method of  claim 8 , further comprising selecting the additional users of the game networking system based on a previous engagement levels between the user and each of the additional users.

The method of  claim 8 , further comprising sorting the scrollable set of user interface elements based on a level of interest of each of the additional users, the level of interest measured by how often each of the additional players has played one of the set of asynchronous games. 
     
     
         14 . A non-transitory machine-readable medium storing a set of instructions that, when executed by one or more processors of one or more machines, cause the one or more machines to perform operations, the operations comprising incorporating one or more modules into the game networking system, the one or more modules configuring the one or more computer processors of the game networking system to communicate a user interface for presentation on a device, the user interface allowing a user of the game networking system to perform a set of actions with respect to a set of suggested asynchronous games, each of the set of suggested asynchronous games being between the user and one of a set of additional users of the game networking system, the user interface including a scrollable set of user interface elements, each of the scrollable set of user interface elements including an activatable element for performing an action with respect to a game of the set of suggested asynchronous games, the action including one of initiating the game, taking a turn in the game, or reviewing a result of the game after the game has been completed, a performing of the action by the user causing the activatable element to be replaced by a different activatable element, the different activatable element corresponding to a different action available to be performed by the user with respect to the game. 
     
     
         15 . The non-transitory machine-readable medium of  claim 14 , wherein the user interface is presented on the device simultaneously with an additional user interface, the additional user interface corresponding to a synchronous game being played by the user. 
     
     
         16 . The non-transitory machine-readable medium of  claim 15 , wherein the presenting of the user interface is based on the user having idle time with respect to the synchronous game.

The non-transitory machine-readable medium of  claim 14 , further comprising selecting each of the suggested games based on a level of interest of each of the additional users, the level of interest measured by how often each of the additional players has played one of the set of asynchronous games. 
     
     
         18 . The non-transitory machine-readable medium of  claim 14 , further comprising selecting the additional users of the game networking system based on a previous engagement levels between the user and each of the additional users.
