Convertible swimsuit top

Abstract

A convertible swimsuit top may include a top portion, a mid-portion, and a slider. The top portion may include a lower edge and a row of protruding teeth along the lower edge of the top portion. The mid-portion may include an upper edge and a row of protruding teeth along the lower edge of the top portion. The row of protruding teeth along the lower edge of the top portion and the row of protruding teeth along the upper edge of the mid-portion may be configured to engage and disengage one another via the slider. The row of protruding teeth along the lower edge of the top portion and the row of teeth along the upper edge of the mid portion may extend for less than the entire length of the lower edge of the top portion.

1 . A convertible swimsuit top, comprising:
 a top portion including a lower edge and a row of protruding teeth along the lower edge of the top portion;   a mid-portion including an upper edge and a row of protruding teeth along the upper edge of the mid-portion; and   a slider,   wherein the row of protruding teeth along the lower edge of the top portion and the row of protruding teeth along the upper edge of the mid-portion are configured to engage and disengage one another via the slider, and   wherein the row of protruding teeth along the lower edge of the top portion and the row of protruding teeth along the upper edge of the mid-portion extend for less than an entire length of the lower edge of the top portion.   
     
     
         2 . The convertible swimsuit top of  claim 1 , wherein a length of the row of protruding teeth along the lower edge of the top portion and the row of teeth along the upper edge of the mid-portion is from 6 inches to 28 inches. 
     
     
         3 . The convertible swimsuit top of  claim 1 , wherein a length of the row of protruding teeth along the lower edge of the top portion and the row of teeth along the upper edge of the mid-portion is from 7 inches to 27 inches. 
     
     
         4 . The convertible swimsuit top of  claim 1 , wherein a length of the row of protruding teeth along the lower edge of the top portion and the row of teeth along the upper edge of the mid-portion is from 8 inches and 26 inches. 
     
     
         5 . The convertible swimsuit top of  claim 1 , wherein the length of the row of protruding teeth along the lower edge of the top portion and the row of teeth along the upper edge of the mid-portion extend for a length of 25 percent to 80 percent of the entire length of the lower edge of the top portion. 
     
     
         6 . The convertible swimsuit top of  claim 1 , wherein the length of the row of protruding teeth along the lower edge of the top portion and the row of teeth along the upper edge of the mid-portion extend for a length of 40 percent to 60 percent of the entire length of the lower edge of the top portion. 
     
     
         7 . The convertible swimsuit top of  claim 1 , wherein a length of the row of protruding teeth along the lower edge of the top portion and the row of teeth along the upper edge of the mid-portion is from 14 to 18 inches. 
     
     
         8 . The convertible swimsuit top of  claim 1 , further comprising a removable embellishment portion. 
     
     
         9 . The convertible swimsuit top of  claim 8 , wherein the removable embellishment portion includes a design material, wherein at least one of the removable embellishment portion and the upper edge of the top portion include an attachment structure, and wherein the embellishment portion is removably attachable to the top portion via the attachment structure. 
     
     
         10 . The convertible swimsuit to of  claim 9 , wherein the attachment structure comprises:
 an embellishment portion slider;   an embellishment portion fabric strip including a row of protruding teeth; and   a top portion upper edge fabric strip including a row of protruding teeth,   wherein the embellishment portion fabric strip row of protruding teeth and the top portion upper edge fabric strip row of protruding teeth are configured to engage and disengage one another via the embellishment portion slider.   
     
     
         11 . The convertible swimsuit to of  claim 9 , wherein the attachment structure comprises:
 an embellishment portion hook fastener strip or a top portion hook fastener strip, wherein the embellishment portion hook fastener strip is configured to engage and disengage the top portion, or the top portion hook fastener strip is configured to engage and disengage the embellishment portion.   
     
     
         12 . The convertible swimsuit to of  claim 9 , wherein the attachment structure comprises:
 an embellishment portion hook or loop fastener strip; and   a top portion hook or loop fastener strip,   wherein the embellishment portion hoop or loop fastener strip and the top portion hook or loop fastener strip are configured to engage and disengage one another.   
     
     
         13 . The convertible swimsuit to of  claim 1 , wherein the mid-portion further comprises a tieback including set of strips extending from each side of the mid-portion to be secured to one another. 
     
     
         14 . The convertible swimsuit of  claim 13 , wherein the set of strips extend outward from middle to upper locations on each side of the mid-portion and are configured to be tied to one another. 
     
     
         15 . A convertible swimsuit top, comprising:
 a top portion including a lower edge and a row of protruding teeth extending along the lower edge of the top portion for less than an entire length of the lower edge of the top portion;   a mid-portion including an upper edge and a row of protruding teeth extending along the upper edge of the mid-portion for less than an entire length of the upper edge of the mid-portion;   a slider; and   an embellishment portion including a design material and an attachment structure, the embellishment portion being removably attachable to the top portion via the attachment structure,   wherein the row of protruding teeth along the lower edge of the top portion and the row of protruding teeth along the upper edge of the mid-portion are configured to engage and disengage one another via the slider, and   wherein a length of the row of protruding teeth along the lower edge of the top portion and the row of teeth along the upper edge of the mid-portion is from 8 inches to 26 inches.   
     
     
         16 . The convertible swimsuit to of  claim 15 , wherein the attachment structure comprises:
 an embellishment portion slider;   an embellishment portion fabric strip including a row of protruding teeth; and   a top portion upper edge fabric strip including a row of protruding teeth,   
       wherein the embellishment portion fabric strip row of protruding teeth and the top portion upper edge fabric strip row of protruding teeth are configured to engage and disengage one another via the embellishment portion slider. 
     
     
         17 . The convertible swimsuit of  claim 15 , wherein the mid-portion further comprises a tieback including a set of strips extending from each side of the mid-portion to be secured to one another. 
     
     
         18 . A convertible swimsuit top, comprising:
 a triangle top portion including two triangle cup portions, a lower edge, common to the two triangle cup portions, and a row of protruding teeth extending along the lower edge of the triangle top portion for less than an entire length of the lower edge of the triangle top portion;   a mid-portion including an upper edge and a row of protruding teeth extending along the upper edge of the mid-portion for less than an entire length of the upper edge of the mid-portion; and   a slider,   wherein the row of protruding teeth along the lower edge of the top portion and the row of protruding teeth along the upper edge of the mid-portion are configured to engage and disengage one another via the slider, and   wherein a length of the row of protruding teeth along the lower edge of the top portion and the row of teeth along the upper edge of the mid-portion is from 14 inches to 18 inches.   
     
     
         19 . The convertible swimsuit to of  claim 18 , wherein the mid-portion further comprises a tieback including set of strips extending from each side of the mid-portion to be secured to one another. 
     
     
         20 . The convertible swimsuit of  claim 19 , wherein the set of strips extend outward from middle to upper locations on each side of the mid-portion and are configured to be tied to one another.
