Abstract
A system includes an electromechanical device coupled to a sensing device to detect input to the electromechanical device and display to displays information related to the electromechanical device. The sensing device includes a touch surface including tactile features delineating a portion of the touch surface to be touched by the conductive object. A sensor of the system is to detect the conductive object proximate to the delineated portion of the touch surface based on a capacitance.
Claims
exact text as granted — not AI-modifiedWhat is claimed is:
1 - 20 . (canceled)
21 . A system, comprising:
an electromechanical device; a sensing device coupled to the electromechanical device and configured to detect input to the electromechanical device; a display configured display information related to the electromechanical device, wherein the sensing device comprises, a touch surface including tactile features delineating a portion of the touch surface to be touched by a conductive object, a sensor configured to detect the conductive object proximate to the delineated portion of the touch surface based on a capacitance.
22 . The system of claim 21 , wherein the tactile features are arranged around a perimeter of the portion of the touch surface to be touched by the conductive object.
23 . The system of claim 21 , wherein the tactile features are arranged as one or more braille characters.
24 . The system of claim 21 , wherein the electromechanical device is a household appliance controllable through the sensing device, wherein the display is configured to indicate a status of the household appliance.
25 . The system of claim 21 , wherein the electromechanical device is an automotive device controllable through the sensing device, wherein the display is configured to indicate a status of the household appliance.Join the waitlist — get patent alerts
