Abstract

Disclosed an apparatus and a method for simutaneously providing a voice service and a data service in an electronic device. The electronic device includes: an antenna for transmitting or receiving one or more signals of a first signal corresponding to a first communication network and a second signal corresponding to a second communication network; a first communication control module for processing the first signal; a second communication control module for processing the second signal; and a divider for distributing the one or more signals received through the antenna to the first communication control module and the second communication control module.

1 . An electronic device comprising:
 an antenna configured to transmit or receive one or more signals of a first signal corresponding to a first communication network and a second signal corresponding to a second communication network;   a first communication control module configured to process the first signal;   a second communication control module configured to process the second signal; and   a divider configured to distribute the one or more signals received through the antenna to the first communication control module and the second communication control module.   
     
     
         2 . The electronic device of  claim 1 , wherein, when a first service corresponding to the first signal and a second service corresponding to the second signal are provided, the first communication control module and the second communication control module are configured to receive the one or more signals through the divider. 
     
     
         3 . The electronic device of  claim 1 , further comprising a switch configured to connect the antenna to at least one of the divider, the first communication control module, and the second communication control based on a service provided by the electronic device. 
     
     
         4 . The electronic device of  claim 3 , wherein the switch is configured to connect the antenna to the first communication control module when the service includes a first service provided through the first communication control module, connect the antenna to the second communication control module when the service includes a second service provided through the second communication control module, and connect the antenna to the divider when the service includes both the first service and the second service. 
     
     
         5 . The electronic device of  claim 1 , further comprising a switch configured to connect the first communication control module to the divider when a first service provided through the first communication control module and a second service provided through the second communication control module are provided, and connect the first communication control module to the antenna when the first service is provided. 
     
     
         6 . The electronic device of  claim 1 , further comprising a switch configured to connect the second communication control module to the divider when a first service provided through the first communication control module and a second service provided through the second communication control module are provided, and connect the second communication control module to the antenna when the second service is provided. 
     
     
         7 . The electronic device of  claim 1 , wherein the divider is configured to combine the first signal transmitted from the first communication control module and the second signal transmitted from the second communication control module into one signal. 
     
     
         8 . The electronic device of  claim 1 , wherein a first frequency band corresponding to the first signal and a second frequency band corresponding to the second signal are adjacent to each other or overlap each other. 
     
     
         9 . The electronic device of  claim 1 , further comprising a secondary antenna configured to receive paging signals corresponding to the one or more signals. 
     
     
         10 . The electronic device of  claim 9 , further comprising another divider is configured to distribute the paging signals received through the secondary antenna to the first communication control module and the second communication control module. 
     
     
         11 . A method of operating an electronic device, the method comprising:
 receiving one or more signals of a first signal corresponding to a first communication network and a second signal corresponding to a second communication network through an antenna functionally connected to the electronic device; and   distributing the one or more received signals to a first communication control module for processing the first signal and a second communication control module for processing the second signal through a divider functionally connected to the electronic device.   
     
     
         12 . The method of  claim 11 , wherein the distributing of the one or more received signals comprises, when the electronic device provides a first service provided through the first communication control module and a second service provided through the second communication control module, distributing the one or more received signals to the first communication control module and the second communication control module. 
     
     
         13 . The method of  claim 12 , further comprising:
 transmitting the one or more signals received through the antenna to the first communication control module when the electronic device provides the first service; and   transmitting the one or more signals received through the antenna to the second communication control module when the electronic device provides the second service.   
     
     
         14 . The method of  claim 11 , further comprising:
 combining a third signal corresponding to the first communication network generated by the first communication control module and a fourth signal corresponding to the second communication network generated by the second communication control module into one signal; and   transmitting the one combined signal through the antenna.   
     
     
         15 . The method of  claim 11 , further comprising:
 receiving paging signals corresponding to the one or more signals through a secondary antenna functionally connected to the electronic device; and   distributing the paging signals received through secondary antenna to the first communication control module and the second communication control module through another divider functionally connected to the electronic device.
