Creative work registry
Abstract
A third-party servers communicatively coupled to a search engine server gather vectors to web content and delivers a report to registered creative work owners by identifying vectors to web content that contain similarities to their copyrighted creative works. The search engine server identifies similarities to the works of the registered owners of the creative works and provides protection by reporting to the registered owners as well as host third party servers, in case of textual, image, audio and video creative works. This service is an added value based service of the search engine server to the registered owners of the creative works upon service charge basis. The search engine server also provides additional services that include reporting to the host third party servers that contain web content having similarities to that of creative works of registered owners and assisting the third-party servers to delete the content upon consideration.

exact text as granted — not AI-modified1 . A web search infrastructure supporting a plurality of creative works owners of a plurality of creative works, the web search infrastructure comprising:
a first communication interface through which the plurality of creative works owners register their creative works; at least one storage that stores a first group of creative works and that stores a second group of creative works, the first group of creative works associated with registration by the plurality of creative works owners, and the second group of creative works obtained during a search engine crawling process, the search engine crawling process including identifying the second group of creative works from at least one of a plurality of web hosting servers responsible for hosting the second group of creative works; and at least one processor that:
supports converting the first group of creative works and the second group of creative works to a predetermined format to generate converted instances of the first group of creative works and converted instances of the second group of creative works; and
identifies matches between the converted instances of the first group of creative works and the converted instances of the second group of creative works and produces match-related information based thereon.
2 . The web search infrastructure of claim 1 , wherein the creative works include one or more of audio works, video works, textual works, image works, and audio-video works.

The web search infrastructure of claim 1 , further comprising a billing service that charges a first fee to the plurality of creative works owners for services rendered and charges an additional fee to the plurality of creative works owners for supporting communications with at least one of the plurality of web hosting servers, the communications regarding at least a portion of the match-related information.
4 . The web search infrastructure of claim 1 , wherein the match-related information identifies at least one creative work of the second group of creative works and at least one creative work of first group of creative works.
5 . The web search infrastructure of claim 1 , wherein the match-related information includes third-party hosting information.
6 . The web search infrastructure of claim 1 , wherein the search engine crawling process includes receiving web address vectors corresponding to the second group of creative works.
7 . The web search infrastructure of claim 1 , further comprising a hypertext markup language interface configured to support communication regarding at least a portion of the match-related information with the at least one of the plurality of web hosting servers.

The web search infrastructure of claim 1 , wherein the processor is configured to identify matches between the converted instances of the first group of creative works and the converted instances of the second group of creative works by determining a correlation between at least some of the first group of creative works and at least some of the second group of creative works.
9 . The web search infrastructure of claim 1 , wherein the converted instances of the second group of creative works is generated in response to a determination that the second group of creative works and the first group of creative works belong to a common creative area.
10 . The web infrastructure of claim 1 , wherein the at least one processor further supports:
visual presentations for the plurality of creative video works owners regarding information associated with the matches; and the plurality of creative video works owners authorizing communications regarding the matches to a selected portion of the web hosting servers responsible for hosting a selected subset of hosted creative works.
11 . The web search infrastructure of claim 1 , wherein:
the matches identify hosted content and at least one creative work associated with the matches; the plurality of creative works associated with the matches comprises a first portion of the plurality of creative works registered by one of the plurality of creative video works owners; and the at least one processor supports visual presentations for the one of the plurality of creative works owners.
12 . The web search infrastructure of claim 1 , wherein the search engine crawling process supports browser-based web searching.
13 . A method for operating a web search infrastructure that supports a plurality of creative works owners of a plurality of creative works, the method comprising:
servicing registration of first group of creative works by a plurality of creative works owners via a communication interface; storing the first group of creative works in memory; performing a search engine crawling process to identify a second group of creative works from at least one of a plurality of web hosting servers responsible for hosting the second group of creative works; storing the second group of creative works in memory; converting the first group of creative works and the second group of creative works to a predetermined format to generate converted instances of the first group of creative works and converted instances of the second group of creative works; and identifying matches between the converted instances of the first group of creative works and the converted instances of the second group of creative works and produces match-related information based thereon.
14 . The method of claim 13 , wherein the creative works include one or more of audio works, video works, textual works, image works, and audio-video works.
15 . The method of claim 13 , further comprising:
charging a first fee to the plurality of creative works owners for services rendered; and charging an additional fee to the plurality of creative works owners for supporting communications with at least one of the plurality of web hosting servers, the communications regarding at least a portion of the match-related information.
16 . The method of claim 13 , wherein the match-related information identifies at least one creative work of the second group of creative works and at least one creative work of first group of creative works.
17 . The method of claim 13 , wherein the match-related information includes third-party hosting information.
18 . The method of claim 13 , wherein the search engine crawling process includes receiving web address vectors corresponding to the second group of creative works.
19 . The method of claim 13 , further comprising supporting communication regarding at least a portion of the match-related information with the at least one of the plurality of web hosting servers.

The method of claim 13 , further comprising identify matches between the converted instances of the first group of creative works and the converted instances of the second group of creative works by determining a correlation between at least some of the first group of creative works and at least some of the second group of creative works.
21 . The method of claim 13 , wherein the converted instances of the second group of creative works is generated in response to a determination that the second group of creative works and the first group of creative works belong to a common creative area.
22 . The method of claim 13 , further comprising:
preparing visual presentations for the plurality of creative video works owners regarding information associated with the matches; and receiving authorization from the plurality of creative video works regarding the matches to communicate with a selected portion of the web hosting servers responsible for hosting a selected subset of hosted creative works.
23 . The method of claim 13 :
wherein the matches identify hosted content and at least one creative work associated with the matches; wherein the plurality of creative works associated with the matches comprises a first portion of the plurality of creative works registered by one of the plurality of creative video works owners; and further comprising supporting visual presentations for the one of the plurality of creative works owners.
