Pumping device
Abstract
A pumping device includes a pump and a connector. A piston is slidably disposed in a container of the pump. A pumping rod is connected with the piston with an end, and the other end of the pumping rod extends outward. The container has an opening at a bottom thereof, and a first connecting portion is formed around the opening. The connector has a cavity, an inlet channel, and an outlet channel. The inlet channel and the outlet channel communicate with the cavity respectively. The connector has a second connecting portion to be engaged with the first connecting portion to allow the cavity communicating with the opening of the container. The inlet channel only allows fluid entering the cavity, and the outlet channel only allows fluid leaving the cavity.
Claims
exact text as granted — not AI-modifiedWhat is claimed is:
1 . A fluid pumping device, including:
a pump, including a container, a piston, and a pumping rod, the container being formed with an insertion hole and a pressure-releasing hole at a top portion thereof, the piston being slidably disposed in the container, an end of the pumping rod being connected to the piston, an opposite end of the pumping rod being inserted through the insertion hole to extend outward, the container being formed with an opening at a bottom portion thereof, the container having a first connecting portion around the opening; a connector, having a cavity, an inlet channel, and an outlet channel, the inlet channel and the outlet channel communicating with the cavity respectively, the connector having a second connecting portion around an opening of the cavity, the second connecting portion being engaged with the first connecting portion so that the cavity communicates with the opening of the container, a first check valve being disposed in the inlet channel, the first check valve allowing fluid flowing into the inlet channel from exterior but prohibiting fluid flowing out from the inlet channel, the connector further having a second check valve disposed in the outlet channel, the second check valve allowing fluid flowing out from the outlet channel but prohibiting fluid flowing into the outlet channel from exterior; wherein when the piston is moved toward the top portion of the container, fluid outside is pumped into the container via the inlet channel; wherein when the piston is moved toward the bottom of the container, fluid in the container is discharged out via the outlet channel; wherein the inlet channel is located at a bottom portion of the connector and is aligned vertically with the cavity, the outlet channel is located at a lateral portion of the connector between the cavity and the inlet channel so that the outlet channel is higher than the inlet channel.
2 . The fluid pumping device of claim 1 , wherein the first connecting portion includes external threads, the second connecting portion includes internal threads to be screwed with the first connecting portion.
3 . The fluid pumping device of claim 1 , wherein an entrance is formed between the inlet channel and exterior, the first check valve includes a slidable blocking element which tends to block the entrance, and fluid outside is able to push the blocking element to enter the inlet channel.
4 . The fluid pumping device of claim 1 , wherein an exit is formed between the cavity and the outlet channel, the second check valve includes a slidable blocking element which tends to block the exit, and fluid in the cavity is able to push the blocking element to flow out via the outlet channel.
5 . The fluid pumping device of claim 1 , further including a converter having an internal thread portion and an external thread portion, the internal thread portion being adapted for being screwed with the first connecting portion, the external thread portion being adapted for being screwed with the second connecting portion so as to link the connector and the pump together.
6 . The fluid pumping device of claim 1 , wherein a direction defined by the cavity to the inlet channel is perpendicular to an extending direction of the outlet channel.Join the waitlist — get patent alerts
