Abstract
A data center system includes: a data center including an electronic device and an air conditioner configured to cool the electronic device; a cooling device including a first cooler configured to cool cooling water to be supplied to the data center by an air blow and a second cooler configured to cool the cooling water by heat exchange; and a control device configured to control the cooling device, wherein the control device is configured to: acquire outside temperature information from a temperature sensor provided outside the data center; calculate cooling water temperature information to be set to the cooling device by adding a cooling temperature difference based on a cooling ability of the first cooler to the outside temperature information; and set the cooling water temperature information to the cooling device.

1 . A data center system comprising:
a data center including an electronic device and an air conditioner configured to cool the electronic device; a cooling device including a first cooler configured to cool cooling water to be supplied to the data center by an air blow and a second cooler configured to cool the cooling water by heat exchange; and a control device configured to control the cooling device, wherein the control device is configured to: acquire outside temperature information from a temperature sensor provided outside the data center; calculate cooling water temperature information to be set to the cooling device by adding a cooling temperature difference based on a cooling ability of the first cooler to the outside temperature information; and set the cooling water temperature information to the cooling device.
2 . The data center system according to claim 1 , wherein
the control device is configured to: compare the cooling water temperature information with a maximum cooling water temperature that depends on an upper limit of an operation temperature range of the electronic device; and set newly cooling water temperature information based on a comparison result.
3 . The data center system according to claim 2 , wherein
the control device is configured to: acquire, when the cooling water temperature information is equal to or larger than the maximum cooling water temperature, first power information of the electronic device from a first power sensor of the electronic device; acquire second power information of the cooling device from a second power sensor of the cooling device; and set newly the cooling water temperature information based on the first power information and the second power information.
4 . The data center system according to claim 3 , wherein the cooling water temperature information is newly set in such a manner that total power information that is a sum of the first power information and the second power information becomes a minimum.
5 . The data center system according to claim 2 , wherein
the control device is configured to: compare, when the cooling water temperature information is less than the maximum cooling water temperature, the cooling water temperature information with a minimum cooling water temperature that depends on an operation lower limit temperature by the air blow of the cooling device; and set newly cooling water temperature information based on a comparison result.
6 . The data center system according to claim 5 , wherein
the control device is configured to set newly the minimum cooling water temperature as the cooling water temperature information when the cooling water temperature information is less than the minimum cooling water temperature.
7 . The data center system according to claim 5 , wherein
the control device is configured not to set newly the cooling water temperature information when the cooling water temperature information is equal to or larger than the minimum cooling water temperature.

The data center system according to claim 2 , wherein the maximum provided cooling water temperature is a value obtained by subtracting a sum of a temperature rise in the data center at a time after the air blow and a temperature margin for handling a non-uniform distribution of temperature due to a structure in the data center from an upper limit of the operation temperature range.
9 . The data center system according to claim 5 , wherein the minimum cooling water temperature is a value based on the operation lower limit temperature by the air blow and a lower limit of an operation temperature range for the data center.
10 . The data center system according to claim 3 , wherein the control device is configured to:
compare a current sum of the first power information and the second power information with a previous sum of the first power information and the second power information stored in a memory; and make a control operation in which switching is performed between an operation of the first cooler and an operation of the second cooler when a value obtained by subtracting a control dead range from the previous sum is equal to or less than the current sum and is equal to or less than a value obtained by adding the control dead range to the previous sum.
11 . The data center system according to claim 2 , wherein
the control device is configured to: compare the cooling water temperature information with a value obtained by subtracting an operation dead value from the maximum cooling water temperature in a case where an operation in which the cooling water temperature information in a previous time is the maximum cooling water temperature or more is performed; and stop the operation when the cooling water temperature information is less than the value.
12 . A control method of a data center system, comprising:
acquiring, by a control device, outside temperature information from a temperature sensor provided outside the data center including an electronic device to be cooled; calculating cooling water temperature information to be set to a cooling device, which includes a first cooler configured to cool cooling water to be supplied to the data center by an air blow and a second cooler configured to cool the cooling water by heat exchange, by adding a cooling temperature difference based on a cooling ability of the first cooler to the outside temperature information; and setting the cooling water temperature information to the cooling device.
13 . The control method according to claim 12 , further comprising:
comparing the cooling water temperature information with a maximum cooling water temperature that depends on an upper limit of an operation temperature range of the electronic device; and setting newly cooling water temperature information based on a comparison result.
14 . The control method according to claim 13 , further comprising:
acquiring, when the cooling water temperature information is equal to or larger than the maximum cooling water temperature, first power information of the electronic device from a first power sensor of the electronic device; acquiring second power information of the cooling device from a second power sensor of the cooling device; and setting newly the cooling water temperature information based on the first power information and the second power information.
15 . The control method according to claim 14 , wherein the cooling water temperature information is newly set in such a manner that total power information that is a sum of the first power information and the second power information becomes a minimum.
16 . The control method according to claim 13 , further comprising:
comparing, when the cooling water temperature information is less than the maximum cooling water temperature, the cooling water temperature information with a minimum cooling water temperature that depends on an operation lower limit temperature by the air blow of the cooling device; and setting newly cooling water temperature information based on a comparison result.
17 . The control method according to claim 16 , wherein the minimum cooling water temperature is set as the cooling water temperature information when the cooling water temperature information is less than the minimum cooling water temperature.
18 . The control method according to claim 16 , wherein the cooling water temperature information is not newly set when the cooling water temperature information is equal to or larger than the minimum cooling water temperature.
19 . A recording medium recording a control program of a data center system which causes a computer to perform operations, the operations comprising:
acquiring, by a control device, outside temperature information from a temperature sensor provided outside the data center including an electronic device to be cooled; calculating cooling water temperature information to be set to a cooling device, which includes a first cooler configured to cool cooling water to be supplied to the data center by an air blow and a second cooler configured to cool the cooling water by heat exchange, by adding a cooling temperature difference based on a cooling ability of the first cooler to the outside temperature information; and setting the cooling water temperature information to the cooling device.
20 . The recording medium according to claim 19 , further comprising:
