Image processing apparatus, image processing method, and non-transitory computer readable medium

Abstract

An image processing apparatus includes an image processing unit, a use authority information acquisition unit, and a transmission controller. The image processing unit processes an image in accordance with an instruction from a terminal apparatus. The use authority information acquisition unit acquires use authority information in which, for each user, use authority is set for a resource that the image processing apparatus has. The transmission controller transmits, in a case where a change has occurred in a state of the resource, resource-state information, which is information regarding the state of the resource, to a terminal apparatus of a user who has authority to use the resource, in accordance with the use authority information acquired by the use authority information acquisition unit.

What is claimed is: 
     
         1 . A terminal apparatus, comprising:
 a receiving unit for receiving information; and   a transmission unit for transmitting information,   wherein the terminal apparatus is configured to receive, via the receiving unit, notification data from an external apparatus, and displays a notification based upon the received notification data, and   wherein the terminal apparatus receives the notification only in a case where (1) a change has occurred in a state of a resource in the external apparatus and (2) the user of the terminal apparatus has authority for use of the resource affected by the change of the resource status.   
     
     
         2 . The terminal apparatus according to  claim 1 , further comprising a display unit that displays the notification based upon the received notification data. 
     
     
         3 . The terminal apparatus according to  claim 1 , wherein:
 the receiving unit comprises an authentication information receiving unit that receives authentication information for performing user authentication from a user; and   the transmission unit comprises an authentication result acquisition unit that transmits authentication information to an image processing apparatus and acquires an authentication result,   
     
     
         4 . A non-transitory computer readable medium storing a program causing a computer to execute a process, the process comprising:
 receiving notification data from an external apparatus; and   displaying a notification based upon the received notification data indicating whether or not authentication is successful,   wherein the notification is received only in a case where (1) a change has occurred in a state of a resource in the external apparatus and (2) a user of a terminal apparatus configured to receive the notification data has authority for use of the resource affected by the change of the resource status.
