Abstract

An apparatus includes a detector configured to detect a network event. The apparatus includes a controller configured to change an operational state of a movable wireless network from a first operational state to a second operational state by changing a system code of the movable wireless network to be consistent with a second system code of a second wireless network, responsive to detection of the network event by the detector. The first operational state corresponds to independent operation of the movable wireless network and the second wireless network. The second operational state corresponds to coordinated operation of the movable wireless network and the second wireless network. The system code may include at least one of a legal entity license code and a country jurisdiction code. The system code may include at least one of a mobile country code and a mobile network code.

Claims

exact text as granted — not AI-modified
1 . An apparatus comprising:
a detector configured to detect a network event; and a controller configured to change an operational state of a movable wireless network from a first operational state to a second operational state by changing a system code of the movable wireless network to be consistent with a second system code of a second wireless network, responsive to detection of the network event by the detector, the first operational state corresponding to independent operation of the movable wireless network and the second wireless network, and the second operational state corresponding to coordinated operation of the movable wireless network and the second wireless network.

2 . The apparatus, as recited in claim 1 , wherein the system code includes at least one of a legal entity license code and a country jurisdiction code.

3 . The apparatus, as recited in claim 1 , wherein the system code includes at least one of a mobile country code and a mobile network code.

4 . The apparatus, as recited in claim 1 , wherein the coordinated operation includes concurrent operation of the movable wireless network and the second wireless network in a merged network formation.

5 . The apparatus, as recited in claim 1 , wherein the state of coordinated operation includes a mobile country code and a mobile network code of the movable wireless network being the same as a second mobile country code and a second mobile network code, respectively, of the second wireless network.

6 . The apparatus, as recited in claim 1 , wherein the controller is configured to change the operational state of the movable wireless network from the second operational state to the first operational state by changing the system code to be different from the second system code, in response to detection of a second network event by the detector.

7 . The apparatus, as recited in claim 1 , wherein the network event includes detection of the movable wireless network entering the coverage area of the second wireless network.

8 . The apparatus, as recited in claim 1 , wherein the detector detects the network event by sensing at least two of power, phase, frequency, interference, frequency plan, frequency portfolio, mobile network code and mobile country code of the second wireless network.

9 . The apparatus, as recited in claim 1 , wherein a wireless communication device of the moveable wireless network receives uninterrupted service before and after the network event.

         10 . A method comprising:
detecting a network event; and changing an operational state of a movable wireless network from a first operational state to a second operational state by changing a system code of the moveable wireless network to be consistent with a second system code of a second wireless network, responsive to detection of the network event, the first operational state corresponding to independent operation of the movable wireless network and the second wireless network, and the second operational state corresponding to coordinated operation of the movable wireless network and the second wireless network.

11 . The method, as recited in claim 10 , wherein the system code includes at least one of a legal entity license code and a country jurisdiction code.

12 . The method, as recited in claim 10 , wherein the system code includes at least one of a mobile country code and a mobile network code.

13 . The method, as recited in claim 10 , wherein the coordinated operation includes concurrent operation of the movable wireless network and the second wireless network in a merged network formation.

14 . The method, as recited in claim 10 , wherein the coordinated operation includes a mobile country code and a mobile network code of the movable wireless network being the same as a second mobile country code and a second network code, respectively, of the second wireless network.

15 . The method, as recited in claim 10 , further comprising:
detecting a second network event; and changing the operational state of the movable wireless network from the second operational state to the first operational state by changing the system code to be different from the second system code, responsive to detection of the second network event.

         16 . An apparatus comprising:
a detector configured to detect a network event; and a controller configured to change an operational state of a movable wireless network from a first operational state to a second operational state by changing a system code of the movable wireless network to be different from a second system code of a second wireless network, responsive to detection of the network event by the detector, the first operational state corresponding to coordinated operation of the movable wireless network and the second wireless network, and the second operational state corresponding to independent operation of the movable wireless network and the second wireless network.

17 . The apparatus, as recited in claim 16 , wherein the system code includes at least one of a legal entity license code and a country jurisdiction code.

18 . The apparatus, as recited in claim 17 , the system code includes at least one of a mobile country code and a mobile network code.
