System and Method for Interfacing Military Records with Pass Control

Abstract

An improved system and method for interfacing military records with pass control is described herein. In one embodiment, a method of associating military records for pass control can comprise creating one or more driver profiles in a military installation memory on a military installation server. Each of the driver profile can comprise identification information and a driving record. The driving record can comprise a driver permission status. Additionally, the method can also comprise the step of sharing with a pass control application server at least a portion of the driver identification information related to each driver profile wherein the driver permission status comprises a revocation. Further the method can comprise the step of storing in the memory the military base driving revocation associated with the driver.

1 . A method of associating military records for pass control comprising;
 receiving by a pass control application server from a military installation server a driver identity information from a plurality of driver profiles, said driver profiles each comprising a revocation in a driver permission status within a driver profile;   storing said driver identity information in a pass control memory;   receiving identity information from a checkpoint computer;   comparing identity information to said driver identity information; and   notifying said checkpoint computer of said revocation if said identity information matches said driver identity information from any of said driver profiles.   
     
     
         2 . The method of  claim 1  wherein said identity information comprises information from a military identification card. 
     
     
         3 . The method of  claim 1  wherein said identity information comprises information from a civilian identification card. 
     
     
         4 . The method of  claim 3  wherein said civilian identification card is a driver's license. 
     
     
         5 . The method of  claim 1  further comprising the step of periodically sharing an update with said pass control application server, said update communicating whether said driver profile related to said driver identity information still comprises said revocation. 
     
     
         6 . The method of  claim 1  wherein said revocation comprises an expiration. 
     
     
         7 . A computer readable storage medium having a computer readable program code embodied therein, wherein the computer readable program code is adapted to be executed to implement the method
 receiving by a pass control application server from a military installation server a driver identity information from a plurality of driver profiles, said driver profiles each comprising a revocation in a driver permission status within a driver profile;   storing said driver identity information in a pass control memory;   receiving identity information from a checkpoint computer;   comparing identity information to said driver identity information; and   notifying said checkpoint computer of said revocation if said identity information matches said driver identity information from any of said driver profiles.   
     
     
         8 . A pass control application server comprising
 a pass control memory comprising   a processor, that according to instructions in said memory
 receives from a military installation server a driver identity information from a plurality of driver profiles, said driver profiles each comprising a revocation in a driver permission status within a driver profile; 
 stores said driver identity information in a pass control memory; 
 receives identity information from a checkpoint computer; 
 compares identity information to said driver identity information; and 
 notifies said checkpoint computer of said revocation if said identity information matches said driver identity information from any of said driver profiles. 
   
     
     
         9 . The pass control application server of  claim 8  wherein said identity information comprises information from a military identification card. 
     
     
         10 . The pass control application server of  claim 8  wherein said identity information comprises information from a civilian identification card. 
     
     
         11 . The pass control application server of  claim 10  wherein said civilian identification card is a driver's license. 
     
     
         12 . The pass control application server of  claim 8  wherein said processor further control application server periodically receives an update from said military installation server, said update communicating whether one or more of said driver profiles related to said driver identity information still comprises said revocation. 
     
     
         13 . The pass control application server of  claim 8  wherein said revocation comprises an expiration.
