Abstract
A shutter slat cleaning accessory having a profile corresponding to the slat. The accessory can be configured to be reversibly attachable to a glove or an operating rod; and can include a C-shaped anchoring accessory, built from elastic bottom, top and connecting portions.
Claims
exact text as granted — not AI-modified1 . An accessory ( 400 ) for cleaning a number of surfaces and adapted to clean the surface of shutter slats comprising:
(a) an upper side and a lower side; (b) an outer transverse profile which is uniform along its entire length; and (c) two or more outer surfaces at each side of the slat intended for cleaning respectively by the surface cleaning accessory, wherein each of the outer surfaces intended for cleaning, on each side, is on a transverse plane that is different than the transverse plane of each adjacent outer surface intended for cleaning; wherein the cleaning accessory comprises a body comprising at least two surface-opposing sides for active cleaning, wherein each side has a plurality of surfaces used for cleaning whose combination creates a transverse profile matching the transverse profile of outer surfaces fo the slat intended for cleaning by the shutter slat cleaning accessory, and wherein:
(a) the body of the accessory ( 400 ) has a generally C-shaped configuration consisting of an upper portion ( 403 ) and a lower portion ( 401 ) connected there-between at one end by a connector ( 405 ) creating a single unit;
(b) the upper portion comprises a cleaning surface at its bottom side ( 404 ) adapted to clean the top side of the slat;
(c) the lower portion comprises a cleaning surface at its top side ( 404 ) adapted to clean the bottom side of the slat; and
(d) the lower portion and the upper portion are spaced-apart via space ( 407 ) produced there-between, and the transverse cross-sectional profile of the space corresponds to the transverse profile that creates the outer surfaces of the slat;
wherein the body of the accessory ( 400 ) allows manual gipping; wherein during cleaning, the surfaces used for cleaning come in contact with the outer surfaces intended for cleaning, of the entire width of the slat, and wherein each cleaning surface comes om contact with the outer surface of the slat that is intended for cleaning and corresponds to the same surface used for cleaning intended to clean it; and wherein the cleaning accessory operator can clean the outer surfaces intended for cleaning via right and/or left movement of the accessory on the slat over its entire length.
2 . The cleaning accessory of claim 1 , wherein areas of the accessory that are not reachable areas of the surface include gripping points for convenient hand gripping by a user.
3 . The cleaning accessory of claim 1 , wherein the lower portion, the upper portion and the connector are made in one unit.
4 . The cleaning accessory of claim 2 , wherein the gripping points are loops ( 410 ) fixed on the top surface of the upper portion of the accessory and the bottom surface of the lower portion of the accessory, respectively, and which are adapted to a user's fingers and allow stable gripping of the accessory, without slippage from the user's hand.
5 . The cleaning accessory of claim 2 , wherein the gripping points are created from elongated spaces ( 420 ) created generally parallel to the top surface ( 409 ) of the upper portion beginning on the high part of the rear surface ( 408 ) of the connector, that are adapted to accommodate therein the user's fingers, and an elongated space ( 421 ) beginning at the lower part of the rear surface ( 408 ) of the connector, adapted to accommodate therein the user's thumb, and that allows stable gripping of the accessory and applying pressure of the fingers on the cleaning accessory toward the slat.
6 . The cleaning accessory of claim 2 , further comprising an anchoring accessory ( 500 ), being generally C-shaped, built from a lower portion ( 501 ), upper portion ( 503 ) and connector ( 505 ) having elastic properties, wherein the lower portion and the upper portion of the anchoring accessory are spaced-apart via a space ( 507 ) created there-between and a cross-sectional profile adapted to the outer profile of the corresponding cleaning accessory, wherein when operating the cleaning accessory, the cleaning accessory is fixed to the internal portion of the anchoring accessory.
7 . The cleaning accessory of claim 6 , wherein the elasticity of the connector ( 505 ) allows the user to distance the upper portion ( 503 ) from the lower portion ( 501 ) and thus to distance the bottom surface ( 404 ) of the upper portion ( 401 ) from the top surface ( 402 ) of the lower portion ( 401 ) of the cleaning accessory ( 400 ), placed therein, and to wrap the desired area of the slat, over the entire width of the slat.
8 . The cleaning accessory of claim 6 , the upper portion ( 503 ) and the lower portion ( 501 ) made of a rigid material allowing uniform pressure application on the upper portion and the lower portion of the cleaning accessory toward the slat.
9 . The cleaning accessory of claim 6 , wherein the fixing means is selected from the group including glue, hook and loop fasteners ( 555 ), snaps and so on.
10 . The cleaning accessory of claim 6 , the fixing being temporary, to the operating of the accessory, allowing the exchange of the cleaning accessory in the anchoring accessory when the cleaning accessory is worn out or when there is a need for a cleaning accessory corresponding to another slat profile different than the profile of slat ( 40 ).
11 . The cleaning accessory of claim 6 , wherein the anchoring accessory comprises a loop ( 510 , 511 ) fixed on the top surface of the upper portion of the anchoring accessory and the bottom surface of the lower portion of the anchoring accessory, respectively, and corresponding to the user's fingers allowing stable gripping of the accessory.
12 . The cleaning accessory of claim 2 , further comprising an extension arm ( 200 ) consisting of an upper part, a lower part, the upper part and rod connecting there-between, wherein the upper part contains gripping surfaces allowing gripping the body of the cleaning accessory ( 400 ) and its operation; and wherein the lower part comprises a mechanism to operate the gripping surfaces.
13 . The cleaning accessory of claim 12 , wherein the gripping surfaces are finger-like items used as gripping means of the accessory ( 400 ) for cleaning slat surfaces, that respectively enter the loops ( 410 ).
14 . The cleaning accessory of claim 12 , wherein the gripping surfaces are finger-like items used as gripping means of the accessory ( 400 ) for cleaning slat surfaces that respectively enter the elongated recesses ( 420 , 421 ).
15 . The cleaning accessory of claim 12 , wherein the gripping surfaces are finger-like items used as gripping means of the anchoring accessory of claim 11 , that respectively enter the loops ( 510 , 511 )Join the waitlist — get patent alerts
