Abstract

An information processing apparatus includes the following elements. An estimated processing time information obtaining unit obtains estimated processing time information indicating an estimated processing time which will be taken to execute processing specified by a request received from a terminal and a communication session canceling unit cancels a communication session between the information processing apparatus and the terminal in response to determining that the estimated processing time exceeds a predetermined time.

What is claimed is: 
     
         1 . An information processing apparatus comprising:
 a processor configured to execute:
 an estimated processing time information obtaining unit configured to obtain estimated processing time information indicating an estimated processing time which will be taken to execute processing specified by a request received from a terminal; and 
 a communication session canceling unit configured to cancel a communication session between the information processing apparatus and the terminal in response to determining that the estimated processing time exceeds a predetermined time. 
   
     
     
         2 . A non-transitory computer readable medium storing a program causing a computer to execute a process, the process comprising:
 obtaining estimated processing time information indicating an estimated processing time which will be taken to execute processing specified by a request received from a terminal; and   cancelling a communication session between the information processing apparatus and the terminal in response to determining that the estimated processing time exceeds a predetermined time.
