Abstract
A privacy screen assembly includes a panel that may be placed upright on a support surface thereby facilitating the panel to conceal an area. A plurality of poles is provided. Each of the poles removably engages the panel such that the panel is stretched between the poles. Each of the poles may penetrate the support surface such that the panel is retained in an upright position with respect to the support surface.
Claims
exact text as granted — not AI-modified1 . A privacy screen assembly comprising:
a panel being configured to be placed upright on a support surface thereby facilitating said panel to conceal an area; and a plurality of poles, each of said poles removably engaging said panel such that said panel is stretched between said poles, each of said poles being configured to penetrate the support surface such that said panel is retained in an upright position with respect to the support surface; wherein each of said poles has a top end and a bottom end, each of said poles having a first section being slidably coupled to a second section such that each of said poles has a telescopically adjustable height between a respective top lip and a respective bottom lip on each said pole, each of said poles having a coupler being rotatably coupled to said first section wherein said coupler on each of said poles is configured to be manipulated, said coupler selectively frictionally engaging said second section of an associated one of said poles such that said associated pole is retained at a selected height; and wherein said panel has a top edge and a bottom edge, said panel having a first set of openings extending therethrough, said first set of openings being spaced apart from each other and distributed along said top edge, said panel having a second set of openings extending therethrough, said second set of openings being spaced apart from each other and distributed along said bottom edge, each opening of said first set of openings being engageable by said upper lip of a selectable one of said poles and each opening of said second set of openings being engageable by said lower lip of said selectable one of said poles whereby each of said poles is adjustable to hold said panel in a taut condition between said upper lip and said lower lip of said selectable one of said poles.
2 . The assembly according to claim 1 , wherein each of said first set of openings is vertically aligned with an associated one of said second set of openings.
3 . (canceled)
4 . The assembly according to claim 1 , wherein:
said top end of each of said poles having a nipple extending upwardly therefrom; and said bottom end of each of said poles having a spike extending downwardly therefrom.
5 . The assembly according to claim 4 wherein
said nipple of each of said poles is extended through a selected one of said first set of openings, said spike on each of said poles being extending through one of said second set of openings being aligned with said selected one of said first set of openings, said spike on each of said poles being configured to penetrate the support surface such that each of said poles extends upwardly from the support surface having said panel being stretched between said poles.
6 . A privacy screen assembly comprising:
a panel being configured to be placed upright on a support surface thereby facilitating said panel to conceal an area, said panel having a top edge and a bottom edge, said panel having a first set of openings extending therethrough, said first set of openings being spaced apart from each other and distributed along said top edge, said panel having a second set of openings extending therethrough, said second set of openings being spaced apart from each other and distributed along said bottom edge, each of said first set of openings being aligned with an associated one of said second set of openings; and a plurality of poles, each of said poles removably engaging said panel such that said panel is stretched between said poles, each of said poles being configured to penetrate the support surface such that said panel is retained in an upright position with respect to the support surface, each of said poles having a top end and a bottom end, each of said poles having a first section being slidably coupled to a second section such that each of said poles has a telescopically adjustable height, each of said poles having a coupler being rotatably coupled to said first section wherein said coupler on each of said poles is configured to be manipulated, said coupler selectively frictionally engaging said second section such of an associated one of said poles such that said associated pole is retained at a selected height, said top end of each of said poles having a nipple extending upwardly therefrom, said bottom end of each of said poles having a spike extending downwardly therefrom, said nipple of each of said poles being extended through a selected one of said first set of openings, said spike on each of said poles being extending through one of said second set of openings being aligned with said selected one of said first set of openings, said spike on each of said poles being configured to penetrate the support surface such that each of said poles extends upwardly from the support surface having said panel being stretched between said poles, each opening of said first set of openings being engageable by said upper lip of a selectable one of said poles and each opening of said second set of openings being engageable by said lower lip of said selectable one of said poles whereby each of said poles is adjustable to hold said panel in a taut condition between said upper lip and said lower lip of said selectable one of said poles.Join the waitlist — get patent alerts
