Abstract
Systems and methods for creating and sharing user-generated content that can be tagged to a website or page are provided herein. The systems and methods allow a user to create content and to share it with others via a variety of methods. The content can be shared in context with an underlying webpage or site. Computer readable medium containing executable code for creating and sharing user-generated information are also disclosed.
Claims
exact text as granted — not AI-modifiedWhat is claimed is:
. A system for user-generated information creation and sharing, said system comprising a multi-node peer-to-peer sharing module adapted to provide at least one communication channel between multiple nodes and/or multiple peers; an uploading means adapted to allow a user to upload a file, said uploaded file being fetched from a local system and adapted to be resident on databases at a server component, thereby forming a content library, per node or per user; a tagging means adapted to allow a user to tag said files from said content library with respect to from a website or with respect to other files from said content library, in order to form user-generated information; and a user-window tool adapted to provide an authorised or registered user with access to said system, said user-window tool adapted to enable a user to generate user generated content.
. The system of claim 1 wherein said multi-node peer-to-peer sharing module comprises windows for accessing, actuating, and using said system.
. The system of claim 1 wherein said multi-node peer-to-peer sharing module comprises tools and mechanisms for accessing, actuating, and using the system.
. The system of claim 1 wherein said multi-node peer-to-peer sharing module comprises unique identities for various nodes or various users of said system.
. The system of claim 1 wherein said multi-node peer-to-peer sharing module comprises a first interfacing mechanism for interfacing with various other embodiments, means, mechanisms, and modules of said system.
. The system of claim 1 wherein said multi-node peer-to-peer sharing module comprises a second interfacing mechanism for interfacing with various other embodiments, means, mechanisms, and modules outside of the system.
. The system of claim 1 wherein said multi-node peer-to-peer sharing module comprises an instant FTP module or a backup module.
. The system of claim 1 wherein said multi-node peer-to-peer sharing module comprises an online module.
. The system of claim 1 wherein said multi-node peer-to-peer sharing module comprises an offline module.
. The system of claim 1 wherein said content library is communicably coupled with a user-window tool of said multi-node peer-to-peer sharing module.
. The system of claim 1 wherein said content library comprises a user-generated content library adapted to be fetched from any virtual node connected to said system.
. The system of claim 1 wherein said tagging means comprises means for tagging selected from a group of functions consisting of highlighting portions of data, commenting on portions of data, and uploading data or files in relation to specific portion of data in a tagged or hyperlinked or pop-up manner.
. The system of claim 1 wherein said tagging means comprises means for multiple tagging for same data, said tagging being coupled with a privacy control mechanism adapted to allow multiple privacy control settings or different privacy control settings for the same tag.
. The system of claim 1 wherein said tagging means comprises means for defining tabs for said user-window tool.
. The system of claim 1 wherein said user-window tool is communicably coupled to use said content library and said tagging mechanism.
. The system of claim 1 wherein said user-window comprises a customizable user window, and further wherein each user-window comprises a template, said template further comprising tabs, and mechanisms to add or delete tabs thereon.
. A computer readable medium containing executable code, for user-generated information creation and sharing, said medium comprising: multi-node peer-to-peer sharing module adapted to provide at least one communication channel between multiple nodes and/or multiple peers; uploading means adapted to allow a user to upload a file, said uploaded file being fetched from a local system and adapted to be resident on databases at a server component, thereby forming a content library, per node or per user; tagging means adapted to allow a user to tag said files from said content library with respect to from a website or with respect to other files from said content library, in order to form user-generated information; and a user-window tool adapted to provide an authorized or registered user with access to said medium, said user-window tool adapted to enable a user to generate user generated content.
. The computer readable medium of claim 17 wherein said tagging means comprises function(s) for one or more of highlighting portions of data, commenting on portions of data, and uploading data or files in relation to specific portion of data in a tagged or hyperlinked or pop-up manner.Join the waitlist — get patent alerts
