Abstract
A templating pipe support device for securing a plurality of pipes in a desired configuration for subsequent manipulations includes a panel that is rigid and flat. A plurality of openings is positioned in the panel, such that the plurality of openings is configured to receive a corresponding plurality of pipes inserted through the openings. The pipes are frictionally retained in the openings and are in parallel alignment.
Claims
exact text as granted — not AI-modified1 . A templating pipe support device comprising:
a panel, said panel being rigid and flat; and a plurality of openings, said plurality of openings being positioned in said panel, each of said openings having a center point, each of said openings defining a circle around said center point wherein said plurality of openings is configured to receive a corresponding plurality of pipes inserted through said openings such that the pipes are frictionally retained in said openings and are in parallel alignment, said panel having an outer peripheral edge, said outer peripheral edge forming a plurality of sequential convexly arcuate sections wherein said panel has a constant thickness extending around said plurality of openings.

6 . The device of claim 1 , further comprising:
said panel having a top face and a bottom face; and each of said openings having a top perimeter on said top face, an associated bottom perimeter on said bottom face, and a medial perimeter between said top face and said bottom face, each of said medial perimeters being shorter in length than said top perimeter and said associated bottom perimeter wherein each said opening is beveled extending into said panel from said top face and said bottom face.
7 . The device of claim 6 , further including each of said top perimeters being of equivalent length.
8 . (canceled)
9 . The device of claim 1 , further including said plurality of openings comprising between 2 and 20 openings.
10 . The device of claim 1 , further including said plurality of openings comprising between 3 and 16 openings.
11 . The device of claim 1 , further including said plurality of openings comprising between 4 and 12 openings.

16 . The device of claim 6 , further including each of said top perimeters having a length between 1.5 and 300 centimeters.
17 . The device of claim 6 , further including each of said top perimeters having a length between 3 and 80 centimeters.
18 . The device of claim 6 , further including each of said top perimeters having a length between 6 and 30 centimeters.
19 . A templating pipe support device comprising:
a panel, said panel being rigid and flat; a plurality of openings, said plurality of openings being positioned in said panel, each of said openings having a center point, said openings defining a circle around said center point, said panel having an outer peripheral edge, said outer peripheral edge forming a plurality of sequential convexly arcuate sections wherein said panel has a constant thickness extending around said plurality of openings, said panel having a top face and a bottom face, each of said openings having a top perimeter on said top face, an associated bottom perimeter on said bottom face, and a medial perimeter between said top face and said bottom face, each of said medial perimeters being shorter in length than said top perimeter and said associated bottom perimeter wherein each said opening is beveled extending into said panel from said top face and said bottom face, each of said top perimeters being of equivalent length, said plurality of openings comprising between 4 and 12 openings, each of said top perimeters having an associated outer perimeter on said top face, each of said top perimeters and said associated outer perimeter defining a band therebetween, said bands being separated by a plurality of spacers, each of said top perimeters having a length between 6 and 30 centimeters; and wherein said plurality of openings is configured to receive a corresponding plurality of pipes inserted through said associated bottom perimeters, such that the pipes are frictionally retained in said openings through surface contact between the pipes and said top perimeters, and wherein the pipes are fixed in a desired configuration, allowing manipulation of the ends of the pipes including cutting, deburring, cleaning, gluing, and subsequent attachment of the pipes to another substrate, that substrate being an indexing valve for regulating water flow in an irrigation system.Join the waitlist — get patent alerts
