Abstract

A inflatable wedge toilet seat lift, located between the toilet bowl rim, and the toilet seat. Foot actuated via a foot pedal pump, when the foot pedal pump is pressed, air travels through tubing causing the wedge expand with air. The inflation lifts the toilet seat, away from the toilet bowl rim.

Claims

exact text as granted — not AI-modified
What is claimed:

1 . A Pneumatic toilet seat lift comprising:
 a) at least one inflatable wedge bladder; b) a wedge base ; c) pressure tubing; and d) a foot pedal pump connecting the pressure tubing to at least one wedge.

2 . A inflatable wedge bladder that is sandwiched between a toilet bowl rim and a toilet bowl seat, with applied pressure, lifts the toilet bowl seat away from the toilet bowl rim, comprising of a inflatable wedge, a foot pedal pump, pressurized tubing and a wedge base mounting plate
       The Wedge
 a) The inflatable wedge bladder of claim 2 , is sandwiched between the seat, and the toilet bowl rim.
 b) The inflatable wedge bladder of claim 1 , is inflatable, and can be made of plastic or a flexible resilient material.
 c) The inflatable wedge bladder of claim 1 , in which the said wedge bladder receives compressed air, resulting in expansion, lifts the toilet bowl seat, away from the toilet bowl rim.
 d) The inflatable wedge bladder of claim 1 , is inactive at 0 degrees (flat, deflated, horizontal), and active at greater than 0 degrees (inflated, vertical)
 e) The inflatable wedge bladder of claim 1 , can be attached by adhesive strips, hook and loop or manufactured as one piece, attached to said mounting plate.
 f) The inflatable wedge bladder of claim 1 , can have air tight bellows or pleats.
 g) The inflatable wedge bladder of claim 1 , can fold and unfold by compressed air, lifting/pivoting the toilet seat

       The Foot Pedal Pump
 a) The foot pedal pump of claim 1 , acts as a pump comprising of bellows or pleats,
 b) The foot pedal pump of claim 1 , having a foot receiving pad, and a base pivotally attached or manufactured as one piece.
 c) The foot pedal pump of claim 1 , comprising of a enclosed compartment to form an air/fluid tight chamber.
 d) The foot pedal pump of claim 1 , when compressed, forces compressed air/fluid from the said chamber into said pressure tubing.
 e) The foot pedal pump of claim 1 , can be located on the floor adjacent to the toilet, and have a embedded spring for recovering for recompression.
 f) The foot pedal pump of claim 1 , comprising of a one way valve to siphon air from the atmosphere (when recovering), and preventing air from returning to the atmosphere (when compressed), thus forcing air into said pressure tubing

       The Pressure Tubing
 a) The pressure tubing of claim 1 , acts as a conduit for the flow of pressurized air/fluid, once said foot pedal pump is depressed.
 b) The pressure tubing of claim 1 , is connected from said foot pedal pump to said inflatable wedge/wedges.
 c) The pressure tubing of claim 1 , can have a release valve to adjust the pressure for the toilet seat lift height.
 d) The pressure tubing of claim 1 , can have various fasteners, made of various resilient materials, or manufactured as one piece.

       The Mounting Plate
 a) The mounting plate of claim 1 , is located between the toilet bowl seat and the toilet bowl rim, and can be made of various resilient material.
 b) The mounting plate of claim 1 , can be secured by fasteners already attached to a standard toilet seat, and slots for adjustable positioning

While the above description contains many specification, these shown not be construed as limitations on the scope of any embodiments
