Method of initializing touchscreen panel
Abstract
A touchscreen panel includes a first resistive film having a first electrode and a second electrode provided at corresponding ends thereof in a first direction; a second resistive film having a third electrode and a fourth electrode provided at corresponding ends thereof in a second direction perpendicular to the first direction; and a resistor group including a plurality of resistors having a first end connected to the second electrode; a switch having a first end connected to a second end of the resistor group and a second end that is grounded. The switch allows one of the resistors of the resistor group to be selected and connected in series to the first resistive film. The first electrode is connected to a certain electric potential.
Claims
exact text as granted — not AI-modifiedWhat is claimed is:
1 . A touchscreen panel, comprising:
a first resistive film having a first electrode and a second electrode provided at corresponding ends thereof in a first direction; a second resistive film having a third electrode and a fourth electrode provided at corresponding ends thereof in a second direction perpendicular to the first direction; and a resistor group including a plurality of resistors having a first end connected to the second electrode; a switch having a first end connected to a second end of the resistor group and a second end that is grounded, the switch being configured to allow one of the resistors of the resistor group to be selected and connected in series to the first resistive film, wherein the first electrode is connected to a certain electric potential.
2 . The touchscreen panel as claimed in claim 1 , further comprising:
a second resistor group connected to the fourth electrode and including a plurality of resistors; a second switch having a first end connected to the second resistor group and a second end that is grounded, the second switch being configured to allow one of the resistors of the second resistor group to be selected and connected in series to the second resistive film, wherein the third electrode is connected to another certain electric potential.
3 . The touchscreen panel as claimed in claim 2 , wherein a value of resistance of the selected one of the resistors of the second resistor group is more than or equal to 25% and less than or equal to 400% of a value of resistance between the third electrode and the fourth electrode in the second resistive film.
4 . The touchscreen panel as claimed in claim 1 , wherein a value of resistance of the selected one of the resistors of the resistor group is more than or equal to 25% and less than or equal to 400% of a value of resistance between the first electrode and the second electrode in the first resistive film.Join the waitlist — get patent alerts
