Abstract

A heating assembly can be used in a dual fuel heater to mix air with fuel to be combusted at the burner. The heating assembly can include a burner, a first nozzle, a second nozzle, a first conduit and a second conduit. The first conduit can have an opening configured to allow air to mix with fuel injected into the first conduit by the first nozzle.

What is claimed is: 
     
         1 . A heater assembly configured to produce a yellow flame, the heater assembly comprising:
 a burner;   a first nozzle;   a second nozzle;   a first conduit positioned between the first nozzle and the burner, the first conduit comprising an opening configured to allow air to mix with fuel injected into the first conduit by the first nozzle; and   a second conduit positioned between the second nozzle and the burner;   wherein the first nozzle is configured to inject fuel into the first conduit near the opening and at a location separate and spaced apart from where the second nozzle is configured to inject fuel into the second conduit and wherein the fuel injected into the second nozzle does not pass through the first nozzle.
