Abstract

A composite yarn. The composite yarn has a glass core having a linear weight ranging between 50 to 400 deniers and composing from 15 to 60% of a total linear weight of the composite yarn. The composite yarn has a sheath surrounding the glass core, where the sheath is constituted at least of fibers of meta-aramid. The sheath constitutes a remainder of the total linear weight of the composite yarn. The composite yarn has a yarn count between 10 tex and 80 tex.

Claims

exact text as granted — not AI-modified
1 . A composite yarn comprising:
a glass core having a linear weight ranging between to 400 deniers and composing from 15 to 60% of a total linear weight of the composite yarn; and a sheath surrounding the glass core, the sheath constituted at least of fibers of meta-aramid, the sheath constituting a remainder of the total linear weight of the composite yarn; wherein the composite yarn has a yarn count between 10 tex and 80 tex.

2 . The composite yarn according to claim 1 , wherein the sheath has a proportion of 35%-100% of the meta-aramid fibers.

3 . The composite yarn according to claim 1 , wherein the sheath further includes para-aramid fibers.

4 . The composite yarn according to claim 3 , wherein the sheath has a proportion of 35%-100% of meta-aramid.

5 . The composite yarn according to claim 1 , wherein the sheath further includes of anti-static fibers.

6 . The composite yarn according to claim 5 , wherein the sheath has a proportion of up to 10% of the anti-static fibers.

7 . The composite yarn according to claim 5 , wherein the anti-static fibers are carbon in a nylon matrix or polyester matrix.

8 . The composite yarn according to claim 1 , wherein the sheath includes modacrylic fibers.

9 . The composite yarn according to claim 7 , wherein the sheath includes a proportion of 5 to 30% of the modacrylic fibers.

10 . The composite yarn according to claim 1 , wherein the sheath includes fibers of at least one of viscose and lyocell.

11 . The composite yarn according to claim 1 , wherein the glass core is an E-glass type glass core.

12 . The composite yarn according to claim 1 , comprising a proportion of at least 44% of a combination of the glass and the fibers of meta-aramid.

13 . A protective garment of textile woven out of a composite yarn comprising:
a glass core having a linear weight ranging between to 400 deniers and composing from 15 to 60% of a total linear weight of the composite yarn; and a sheath surrounding the glass core, the sheath constituted at least of fibers of meta-aramid, the sheath constituting a remainder of the total linear weight of the composite yarn; wherein the composite yarn has a yarn count between 10 tex and 80 tex.

14 . The protective garment according to claim 13 , wherein the sheath has a proportion of 35%-100% of the meta-aramid fibers.

15 . The protective garment according to claim 13 , wherein the sheath further includes para-aramid fibers.

16 . The protective garment according to claim 13 , wherein the sheath further includes of anti-static fibers.

17 . The protective garment according to claim 13 , wherein the sheath includes modacrylic fibers.

18 . The protective garment according to claim 13 , wherein the sheath includes fibers of at least one of viscose and lyocell.

19 . The protective garment according to claim 13 , wherein the glass core is an E-glass type glass core.

20 . The protective garment according to claim 13 , wherein the composite yarn has a proportion of at least 44% of a combination of the glass and the fibers of meta-aramid.
