Medicament for treating peripheral neuropathies

Abstract

The invention provides a method for treatment of the diseases in a human by identifying the human as one suffering from a herpes simplex virus (HSV), and then administering to the human the compound anti-HSV agent or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof. The diseases include dermatosis and non-dermatosis, wherein the dermatosis include acnes, impetigo, pyoderma gangrenosum, chilblains and psoriasiform, asteatotic dermatitis, ichthyosis, lichen simplex chronicus (Neurodermatitis, Prurigo), seborrhoeic dermatitis, rosacea, perioral dermatitis, epidermal cyst, wound ulcer, discoid lupus erythematosus, vitiligo, Alopecia, diagnostic criteria of some autoimmune diseases such as systemic lupus erythematosus or diabetic skin complications, wherein the non-dermatosis include glomerulonephritis, arthritis, Crohn's disease, ulcerative colitis, myelodysplasia, multiple myeloma, demyelinating disease, Parkinson's disease, anemia, cytopenia those among the diagnostic criteria.

1 . A pharmaceutical composition comprising a compound:
 2-Amino-1,9-dihydro-9-((2-hydroxyethoxy)methyl)-6H-purin-6-one   or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof, wherein the composition comprises an effective amount of the compound for treating a symptom of red swollen and inflammation on a skin of a human, caused by continued exposure to cold.   
     
     
         2 . The pharmaceutical composition of  claim 1 , wherein said salt comprises an acid salt. 
     
     
         3 . The pharmaceutical composition of  claim 1 , wherein said salt comprises a phosphoric salt. 
     
     
         4 . The pharmaceutical composition of  claim 1 , wherein said salt comprises a hydrochloride salt. 
     
     
         5 . The pharmaceutical composition of  claim 1 , wherein said symptom occurs on a finger of said human. 
     
     
         6 . The pharmaceutical composition of  claim 1 , wherein said symptom occurs on a toe of said human. 
     
     
         7 . The pharmaceutical composition of  claim 1 , wherein said symptom further comprises itching and blisters on said skin of said human. 
     
     
         8 . The pharmaceutical composition of  claim 1 , wherein said symptom occurs on a nose of said human. 
     
     
         9 . The pharmaceutical composition of  claim 1 , wherein said symptom occurs on an ear of said human. 
     
     
         10 . The pharmaceutical composition of  claim 1 , wherein said symptom further comprises erosions on said skin of said human. 
     
     
         11 . A pharmaceutical composition comprising a compound:
 2-[(2-amino-6-oxo-6,9-dihydro-3H-purin-9-yl)methoxy]ethyl-2-amino-3-methylbutanoate   or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof, wherein the composition comprises an effective amount of the compound for treating a symptom of red swollen and inflammation on a skin of a human, caused by continued exposure to cold.
