Cosmetic Application Assembly
Abstract
A cosmetic application assembly includes a holder that has a handle portion and a head portion. The handle portion may be manipulated such that the head portion is positioned to abut a user's face. A plurality of applicators is provided and each of the applicators may have a cosmetic compound applied thereto. A selected one of the applicators is removably coupled to the head portion. Thus, the selected applicator may apply the cosmetic compound to the user's face when the handle portion is manipulated. A case is provided and the holder and each of the applicators is stored therein when the holder and each of the applicators is not in use.

1 . A cosmetic application assembly comprising:
a holder having a handle portion and a head portion, said handle portion being configured to be manipulated such that said head portion is positioned to abut a user's face; a plurality of applicators, each of said applicators being configured to have a cosmetic compound applied thereto, a selected one of said applicators being removably coupled to said head portion wherein said selected applicator is configured to apply the cosmetic compound to the user's face when said handle portion is manipulated; and a case having said holder and each of said applicators being stored therein when said holder and each of said applicators is not in use.
2 . The assembly according to claim 1 , wherein said handle portion comprises a first end, a second end and an outer surface extending between said first end and said second end, said handle portion being elongated between said first end and said second end, said outer surface being curved such that said handle portion has a substantially cylindrical shape.
3 . The assembly according to claim 2 , wherein said handle portion is curved proximate said second end to define a first section and a second section of said handle portion, said first section of said handle portion having a diameter being greater than a diameter of said second section of said handle portion.
4 . The assembly according to claim 3 , further comprising a pair of grips, each of said grips being coupled to said handle portion, each of said grips being positioned on opposite sides of said outer surface wherein each of said grips is configured to enhance a grip of said handle portion, each of said grips extending substantially along said first section.
5 . The assembly according to claim 1 , wherein:
said handle portion has a first end; and said head portion comprises a first surface, a second surface and a peripheral surface extending between said first surface and said second surface, said first surface being coupled to said first end of said handle portion.
6 . The assembly according to claim 5 , wherein said second surface has a well extending inwardly therein, said well being centrally positioned on said second surface, said well having a lateral bounding surface and a basal bounding surface, said lateral bounding surface tapering inwardly between said second surface and said basal bounding surface.
7 . The assembly according to claim 1 , wherein each of said applicators comprises a disk having a primary surface, a secondary surface and a perimeter edge extending between said primary surface and said secondary surface.
8 . The assembly according to claim 7 , wherein each of said applicators further comprises a fastener having a shaft and a head, said shaft being coupled to said secondary surface such that said head is spaced from said secondary surface, said head having a distal end with respect to said secondary surface, said head having a diameter being greater than a diameter of said shaft, said head tapering inwardly between said shaft and said distal end, said head having an exterior surface.
9 . The assembly according to claim 8 , wherein:
said head portion has a well, said well having a lateral bounding surface; and said fastener is inserted into said well when said selected applicator is coupled to said head portion, said exterior surface frictionally engaging said lateral bounding surface such that said selected applicator is removably retained on said head portion.
10 . The assembly according to claim 7 , wherein each of said applicators further comprises a pad being coupled to said primary surface, said pad substantially covering said primary surface, said pad having a distal surface with respect to said primary surface, said distal surface being configured to have the cosmetic compound applied thereto, said distal surface being configured to abut the user's face when said handle portion is manipulated thereby facilitating the cosmetic compound to be applied to the user's face.
11 . The assembly according to claim 1 , wherein said case has a body and a lid being hingedly coupled to said body, said body having a lower wall and a peripheral wall being extending away from said lower wall, said peripheral wall having a distal edge with respect to said lower wall, said peripheral wall having a back side.
12 . The assembly according to claim 11 , wherein said lid has an upper wall and a perimeter wall extending away from said upper wall, said perimeter wall having a distal edge with respect to said upper wall, said perimeter wall having a back side.
13 . The assembly according to claim 12 , wherein said back side of said perimeter wall is hingedly coupled to said back side of said peripheral wall, said lid being positionable in a closed position having said distal edge of said peripheral wall abutting said distal edge of said perimeter wall, said lid being positionable in an open position having said distal edge of said peripheral wall being spaced from said distal edge of said perimeter wall.
14 . A cosmetic application assembly comprising:
a holder having a handle portion and a head portion, said handle portion being configured to be manipulated such that said head portion is positioned to abut a user's face, said handle portion comprising:
a first end, a second end and an outer surface extending between said first end and said second end, said handle portion being elongated between said first end and said second end, said outer surface being curved such that said handle portion has a substantially cylindrical shape, said handle portion being curved proximate said second end to define a first section and a second section of said handle portion, said first section of said handle portion having a diameter being greater than a diameter of said second section of said handle portion, and
a pair of grips, each of said grips being coupled to said handle portion, each of said grips being positioned on opposite sides of said outer surface wherein each of said grips is configured to enhance a grip of said handle portion, each of said grips extending substantially along said first section;
said head portion comprising a first surface, a second surface and a peripheral surface extending between said first surface and said second surface, said first surface being coupled to said first end of said handle portion, said second surface having a well extending inwardly therein, said well being centrally positioned on said second surface, said well having a lateral bounding surface and a basal bounding surface, said lateral bounding surface tapering inwardly between said second surface and said basal bounding surface; a plurality of applicators, each of said applicators being configured to have a cosmetic compound applied thereto, a selected one of said applicators being removably coupled to said head portion wherein said selected applicator is configured to apply the cosmetic compound to the user's face when said handle portion is manipulated, each of said applicators comprising:
a disk having a primary surface, a secondary surface and a perimeter edge extending between said primary surface and said secondary surface,
a fastener having a shaft and a head, said shaft being coupled to said secondary surface such that said head is spaced from said secondary surface, said head having a distal end with respect to said secondary surface, said head having a diameter being greater than a diameter of said shaft, said head tapering inwardly between said shaft and said distal end, said head having an exterior surface, said fastener being inserted into said well when said selected applicator is coupled to said head portion, said exterior surface frictionally engaging said lateral bounding surface such that said selected applicator is removably retained on said head portion, and
a pad being coupled to said primary surface, said pad substantially covering said primary surface, said pad having a distal surface with respect to said primary surface, said distal surface being configured to have the cosmetic compound applied thereto, said distal surface being configured to abut the user's face when said handle portion is manipulated thereby facilitating the cosmetic compound to be applied to the user's face; and
a case having said holder and each of said applicators being stored therein when said holder and each of said applicators is not in use, said case having a body and a lid being hingedly coupled to said body, said body having a lower wall and a peripheral wall being extending away from said lower wall, said peripheral wall having a distal edge with respect to said lower wall, said peripheral wall having a back side, said lid having an upper wall and a perimeter wall extending away from said upper wall, said perimeter wall having a distal edge with respect to said upper wall, said perimeter wall having a back side, said back side of said perimeter wall being hingedly coupled to said back side of said peripheral wall, said lid being positionable in a closed position having said distal edge of said peripheral wall abutting said distal edge of said perimeter wall, said lid being positionable in an open position having said distal edge of said peripheral wall being spaced from said distal edge of said perimeter wall.Join the waitlist — get patent alerts
