Toilet bowl cleaning trough device

Abstract

A toilet bowl cleaning trough device catches overspill while plunging a plugged toilet. The device includes an outer wall, an inner wall, and a bottom wall defining a trough. The trough is curved defining a front section and a pair of opposed side sections such that the trough is configured for being positioned to extend around a toilet bowl. A seal is coupled to the trough coextensive with a top edge of the inner wall for preventing liquid from passing between the toilet bowl and the trough. A support is coupled to and extends between the side sections of the trough for supporting the trough on the toilet bowl adjacent to and extending around an upper edge of the toilet bowl.

I claim: 
     
         1 . A toilet bowl cleaning trough device comprising:
 an outer wall;   an inner wall positioned in spaced relationship to said outer wall;   a bottom wall coupled to and extending between said outer wall and said inner wall defining a trough with said outer wall and said inner wall, said trough being curved defining a front section of said trough and a pair of opposed side sections of said trough such that said trough is configured for being positioned to extend around a toilet bowl;   a seal coupled to said trough, said seal being coextensive with a top edge of said inner wall wherein said seal is configured for preventing liquid from passing between the toilet bowl and the trough; and   a support coupled to and extending between said side sections of said trough wherein said support is configured for supporting said trough on the toilet bowl adjacent to and extending around an upper edge of the toilet bowl.   
     
     
         2 . The device of  claim 1 , further comprising said outer wall having an outwardly curved portion defining a spout configured for facilitating emptying of liquid from said trough. 
     
     
         3 . The device of  claim 2 , further comprising said spout being positioned in said front section of said trough. 
     
     
         4 . The device of  claim 1 , further comprising a handle coupled to said support. 
     
     
         5 . The device of  claim 1 , further comprising said support being one of a pair of spaced parallel supports. 
     
     
         6 . The device of  claim 5 , further comprising a pair of handles, each of said handles being positioned on a respective one of said supports. 
     
     
         7 . The device of  claim 1 , further comprising a top edge of said outer wall being horizontally offset above said upper edge of said inner wall wherein a top portion of said outer wall defines a lip extending around said trough. 
     
     
         8 . A toilet bowl cleaning trough device comprising:
 an outer wall;   an inner wall positioned in spaced relationship to said outer wall;   a bottom wall coupled to and extending between said outer wall and said inner wall defining a trough with said outer wall and said inner wall, said trough being curved defining a front section of said trough and a pair of opposed side sections of said trough such that said trough is configured for being positioned to extend around a toilet bowl, said outer wall having an outwardly curved portion defining a spout configured for facilitating emptying of liquid from said trough, said spout being positioned in said front section of said trough;   a seal coupled to said trough, said seal being coextensive with a top edge of said inner wall wherein said seal is configured for preventing liquid from passing between the toilet bowl and the trough; and   a pair of spaced parallel supports, each said support being coupled to and extending between said side sections of said trough wherein said supports are configured for supporting said trough on the toilet bowl adjacent to and extending around an upper edge of the toilet bowl;   a pair of handles, each of said handles being positioned on a respective one of said supports; and   a top edge of said outer wall being horizontally offset above said upper edge of said inner wall wherein a top portion of said outer wall defines a lip extending around said trough.
