Image forming apparatus

Abstract

An image forming apparatus allowing a user to easily access an operating section even in a large-size apparatus can be provided. An image forming apparatus 100 includes a main machine 110 including an operating section 113 and capable of functioning as a multifunction machine by itself, and at least one option machine 120 to 190 added to a side-face side of an enclosure 111 of the main machine. The apparatus 100 includes the operating section 113 at a fixed position in the width direction of the enclosure. The enclosure has a unified first color of a same tone at a front face thereof, and an operating position line 101 is formed at a part of the front face of the enclosure and has a second color that is clearly different from the first color so as to be a guide indicating a position of the operating section 113.

What is claimed is: 
     
         1 . An image forming apparatus comprising:
 an enclosure of a main machine having a function of performing image formation on a sheet;   a document cover arranged on a top-face side of the enclosure in an openable and closable manner; and   an operating section arranged closer to a front-face side of the enclosure than to the document cover, wherein:   the front-face side of the enclosure has a first color except a part; and   the part includes an outer peripheral portion of the operating section and has color that is different from the first color.   
     
     
         2 . The image forming apparatus according to  claim 1 , wherein the part further includes a part formed below the operating section and having a constant width. 
     
     
         3 . The image forming apparatus according to  claim 1 , wherein the operating section has a tilting configuration with which an angle of a screen is able to be changed. 
     
     
         4 . The image forming apparatus according to  claim 1 , wherein the operating section is an operating panel on which a touch operation is able to be performed. 
     
     
         5 . The image forming apparatus according to  claim 1 , wherein the operating section is on one lateral end part of the enclosure. 
     
     
         6 . The image forming apparatus according to  claim 1 , wherein the color of the part is darker than the first color. 
     
     
         7 . The image forming apparatus according to  claim 1 , wherein the first color is whitish or milky-whitish. 
     
     
         8 . The image forming apparatus according to  claim 1 , wherein the part further includes a linear region provided in an entire region in a width direction on the front-face side of the enclosure, the linear region having color that is different from the first color. 
     
     
         9 . The image forming apparatus according to  claim 1 , further comprising an option machine configured to be connected to the enclosure, wherein a front-face side of the option machine is of a same color as the first color. 
     
     
         10 . The image forming apparatus according to  claim 1 , further comprising an option machine configured to be connected to the enclosure, wherein a front-face side of the option machine except a part is of a same color as the part of the enclosure. 
     
     
         11 . The image forming apparatus according to  claim 9 , wherein the option machine is any one of a large-capacity feeding cassette, a large-capacity multistage tray, a buffer, an inserter, a large-capacity stacker, a bookbinding machine, a folding machine, or a saddle finisher. 
     
     
         12 . An image forming apparatus comprising:
 an enclosure of a main machine having a function of performing image formation on a sheet; and   an operating section arranged on a front-face side of the enclosure and having a tilting configuration with which an angle of a screen is able to be changed, wherein:   the front-face side of the enclosure except a part has a first color; and   the part includes an outer peripheral portion of the operating section and has color that is different from the first color.   
     
     
         13 . The image forming apparatus according to  claim 12 , wherein the part further includes a part formed below the operating section and having a constant width. 
     
     
         14 . The image forming apparatus according to  claim 12 , wherein the operating section is an operating panel on which a touch operation is able to be performed. 
     
     
         15 . The image forming apparatus according to  claim 12 , wherein the operating section is on one lateral end part of the enclosure. 
     
     
         16 . The image forming apparatus according to  claim 12 , wherein the color of the part is darker than the first color. 
     
     
         17 . The image forming apparatus according to  claim 12 , wherein the first color is whitish or milky-whitish. 
     
     
         18 . The image forming apparatus according to  claim 12 , further comprising an option machine configured to be connected to the enclosure, wherein a front-face side of the option machine is of a same color as the first color. 
     
     
         19 . The image forming apparatus according to  claim 12 , further comprising an option machine configured to be connected to the enclosure, wherein a front-face side of the option machine except a part is of a same color as the part of the enclosure. 
     
     
         20 . The image forming apparatus according to  claim 18 , wherein the option machine is any one of a large-capacity feeding cassette, a large-capacity multistage tray, a buffer, an inserter, a large-capacity stacker, a bookbinding machine, a folding machine, or a saddle finisher.
