Abstract

Disclosed are a battery cell assembly for a secondary battery, and a secondary battery comprising the same, the battery cell assembly for a secondary battery comprising: at least one battery cell; and a first frame disposed on one side of the at least one battery cell; and a second frame which is disposed on the other side of the at least one battery cell so as to face the first frame and which is coupled to the first frame so as to protect the edge of the at least one battery cell together with the first flume. The present invention uses a frame type cell support which retains and supports at least one battery cell without separation, thereby providing a battery cell assembly for a secondary battery, namely a sub-battery module receiving body, having improved structural stability and assembly convenience, and a secondary battery comprising the same.

1 . A battery cell assembly for a secondary battery comprising:
 at least one battery cell;   a first frame provided on a first side of the at least one battery cell; and   a second frame provided on a second side of the at least one battery cell so as to face the first frame, the second frame being coupled to the first frame so as to protect an edge of the at least one battery cell together with the first frame.   
     
     
         2 . The battery cell assembly for the secondary battery of  claim 1 , wherein the first frame and the second frame are made of plastic that is able to be bonded by any one of methods of welding, thermal fusing, and bonding. 
     
     
         3 . The battery cell assembly for the secondary battery of  claim 1 , wherein the first frame and the second frame form a frame type support by being coupled to each other, the frame type support containing the at least one battery cell therein and protecting the edge of the at least one battery cell. 
     
     
         4 . The battery cell assembly for the secondary battery of  claim 1 , wherein
 the first frame is provided with: a first seating part in which the first side of the at least one battery cell is seated; a first bending part extending from the first seating part towards the second frame; and a first bonding part extending from the first bending part towards an outer portion of the at least one battery cell, and   the second frame is provide with: a second seating part in which the second side of the at least one battery cell is seated; a second bending part extending from the second seating part towards the first frame; and a second bonding part extending from the second bending part towards the outer portion of the at least one battery cell, the second bonding part being coupled to the first bonding part.   
     
     
         5 . The battery cell assembly for the secondary battery of  claim 4 , wherein the first bonding part and the second bonding part are in surface contact with each other. 
     
     
         6 . The battery cell assembly for the secondary battery of  claim 4 , wherein the first seating part is provided with a first window that exposes the first side of the at least one battery cell. 
     
     
         7 . The battery cell assembly for the secondary battery of  claim 4 , wherein the second seating part is provided with a second window that exposes the second side of the at least one battery cell. 
     
     
         8 . The battery cell assembly for the secondary battery of  claim 4 , wherein the first bonding part is provided with a first stepped portion that is formed on a junction between the first bonding part and the first bending part. 
     
     
         9 . The battery cell assembly for the secondary battery of  claim 4 , wherein the second bonding part is provided with a second stepped portion that is formed on a junction between the second bonding part and the second bending part. 
     
     
         10 . The battery cell assembly for the secondary battery of  claim 4 , wherein the first bonding part is provided with a protrusion that protrudes towards the second bonding part, and the second bonding part is provided with a groove that is engaged with the protrusion. 
     
     
         11 . The battery cell assembly for the secondary battery of  claim 4 , wherein the first bonding part and the second bonding part are fixed by being bonded to each other. 
     
     
         12 . The battery cell assembly for the secondary battery of  claim 11 , wherein the first bonding part and the second bonding part are bonded to each other by any one of methods of welding, thermal fusing, and bonding. 
     
     
         13 . The battery cell assembly for the secondary battery of  claim 4 , wherein the first seating part forms a square frame to support a first side surface of the at least one battery cell, and the second seating part forms a square frame to support a second side surface of the at least one battery cell. 
     
     
         14 . The battery cell assembly for the secondary battery of  claim 1 , further comprising:
 a heat dissipation plate placed on the at least one battery cell.   
     
     
         15 . The battery cell assembly for the secondary battery of  claim 14 , wherein the first frame and the second frame are provided with stepped portions that support an edge of the heat dissipation plate at a first side and a second side of the heat dissipation plate. 
     
     
         16 . The battery cell assembly for the secondary battery of  claim 14 , further comprising:
 a refrigerant tube that is provided along the edge of the heat dissipation plate and guides cooling fluid.   
     
     
         17 . The battery cell assembly for the secondary battery of  claim 14 , wherein the heat dissipation plate is made of aluminum.
