Abstract

A computer detects a person in an environment. The computer determines a view direction of the person. The computer displays content relevant to the determined view direction of the person.

Claims

exact text as granted — not AI-modified
What is claimed is:

1 . A method for determining a view direction of a user, comprising the steps of:
a computer detecting a person in an environment; the computer determining a view direction of the person; and the computer displaying content relevant to the determined view direction of the person.

2 . The method of claim 1 , wherein the content relevant to the determined view direction of the person is displayed on a transparent display.

3 . The method of claim 2 , wherein the view direction of the person is in a direction towards the transparent display, and wherein determining the view direction of the person further comprises:
the computer utilizing one or more cameras in order to track a gaze of the person; and the computer determining the view direction of the person based on the gaze of the person and an angle of refraction associated with the transparent display.

4 . The method of claim 1 , wherein the step of detecting a person in an environment is performed by utilizing one or more cameras.

5 . The method of claim 1 , further comprising:
the computer determining the view direction of the person has changed; the computer determining another view direction of the person; and the computer displaying content relevant to the another view direction of the person.

6 . The method of claim 1 , wherein the displayed content may be manipulated and selected by the person by way of user input.

7 . The method of claim 1 , wherein the view direction of the person is determined by receiving information via a network connection from a lens affixed to one or more eyes of the person detailing the view direction of the person.

8 . A computer program product for determining a view direction of a user, the computer program product comprising:
one or more computer-readable storage devices and program instructions stored on at least one of the one or more computer-readable storage devices, the program instructions comprising: program instructions to detect a person in an environment; program instructions to determine a view direction of the person; and program instructions to display content relevant to the determined view direction of the person.

9 . The computer program product of claim 8 , wherein the content relevant to the determined view direction of the person is displayed on a transparent display.

10 . The computer program product of claim 9 , wherein the view direction of the person is in a direction towards the transparent display, and wherein the program instructions to determine the view direction of the person further comprises:
program instructions to utilize one or more cameras in order to track a gaze of the person; and program instructions to determine the view direction of the person based on the gaze of the person and an angle of refraction associated with the transparent display.

11 . The computer program product of claim 8 , wherein the program instructions to detect a person in an environment is performed by utilizing one or more cameras.

12 . The computer program product of claim 8 , further comprising:
program instructions to determine the view direction of the person has changed; program instructions to determine another view direction of the person; and program instructions to display content relevant to the another view direction of the person.

13 . The computer program product of claim 8 , wherein the displayed content may be manipulated and selected by the person by way of user input.

14 . The computer program product of claim 8 , wherein the view direction of the person is determined by receiving information via a network connection from a lens affixed to one or more eyes of the person detailing the view direction of the person.

15 . A computer system for determining a view direction of a user, the computer system comprising:
one or more processors, one or more computer-readable memories, one or more computer-readable tangible storage devices, and program instructions stored on at least one of the one or more computer-readable tangible storage devices for execution by at least one of the one or more processors via at least one of the one or more memories, the program instructions comprising:
 program instructions to detect a person in an environment;
program instructions to determine a view direction of the person; and
program instructions to display content relevant to the determined view direction of the person.

16 . The computer system of claim 15 , wherein the content relevant to the determined view direction of the person is displayed on a transparent display.

17 . The computer system of claim 16 , wherein the view direction of the person is in a direction towards the transparent display, and wherein the program instructions to determine the view direction of the person further comprises:
program instructions to utilize one or more cameras in order to track a gaze of the person; and program instructions to determine the view direction of the person based on the gaze of the person and an angle of refraction associated with the transparent display.

18 . The computer system of claim 15 , wherein the program instructions to detect a person in an environment is performed by utilizing one or more cameras.

19 . The computer system of claim 15 , further comprising:
program instructions to determine the view direction of the person has changed; program instructions to determine another view direction of the person; and program instructions to display content relevant to the another view direction of the person.

20 . The computer system of claim 15 , wherein the displayed content may be manipulated and selected by the person by way of user input.
